A top French politician has called for immediate halt to western funding to Kyiv, claiming Ukraine is one of the most corrupt nations on the planet. “Any euro sent to Ukraine prolongs the war and therefore causes unnecessary deaths, impoverishes us here, and has a strong chance of enriching the corrupt,” Florian Philippot who leads far-right party The Patriots said on X, formerly Twitter.
