I have the same wallet, and I think the outer slot is for the tracker, since it can be too tight to fit a normal card, but the tracker fits perfectly.

Decadent Minimalist wallet is way better, I'm tellin' ya. It keeps it simple, plus you can engrave it with what you want. I sprung for the titanium one a few years back and even though I always look at wallets (all the time) nothing looks to come even close. You should totally review that one! Love this channel btw!

I do appreciate this review out of the other handful of reviews I have watched tonight due to the fact that there is actual talk on the pros BUT also the cons as well. I am already aware it is a "fantastic wallet" blah blah, but how is it in use and why is it loved and what are things that aren't so loveable? I appreciate the realness of this and the fact that the huge selling point OF the wallet IS the "trigger" system, it was the one part I was concerned about the most. Upon hearing how it is not always reliable and how the middle cards are not that easy to access, that is something I am not a fan of since I don't like stacked cards like the ridge wallet. Thanks again for the review!

I think Secrid's wallets look better than this one. They're smaller and hold more stuff. I've had mine for over 6 years, and it still looks great.
I've heard great things about their wallets, hoping to review one soon!
The only issue with Secrid and C-Secure type wallets their springs break off... Ekster doesn't.
My wallet is always in my jacket pocket at all times, that I'd never need any sort of tracker on it
until you accidentally misplace it!

The strap is the only thing I don't like about the wallet. Makes it too bulky. Wallet overall is almost perfect. I'd have preferred to seen an extra card pocket or two, or one big pocket for cash, instead of that strap. The one I use is by Tergan genuine leather. Has 12 card pockets 3 on every side. Then two stash pockets on the inside and also opens up to put cash, all while remaining slim. But I've never been able to find the right replacement. Mainly because I don't use 12 cards, I use about 6-9
