England survive despite Fiji fightback | England v Fiji | Rugby World Cup 2023 Extended Highlights

- After a strong Rugby World Cup 2023 Pool stage and topping Pool D, England met one of the tournament's surprise packages, Fiji, in Marseille for the third Rugby World Cup 2023 quarter-final.
Despite coming in as Pool C runners-up, Fiji had the physcological edge knowing they had beaten England for the first time ever in the World Cup warm-up games less than two months earlier!
England started the better, with tries from Manu Tuilagi and Joe Marchant, but Fiji were able to peg them back and level the scores at 24-24 with ten minutes to go, until Owen Farrell stepped up with a drop-goal and penalty to give England breathing space as they closed the game out.

Where is the tackle by Curry (No.7) on Tuisova? That resulted in Tuisova being injured for the rest of the match. That should've been a red card.

Different story if Caleb Muntz wasn't injured since I figured that flyhalf problem would've affected them, but Fiji looks promising for the future with the Drua in SR providing stability. Not surprising that England avenged their home loss here.
