Joey's was great in this one but you also gotta give props to Mick and Jim for this one as well for the guitars.
Its not a easy one and tires the hell out of your arm.

Joey is the drummer Paul was still alive on bass and chris was on percussion with clown. This was the last album slipknot was with the og 9 members from the first album. The album after this was the beginning with jay and v man.

@@everyonelovesmajima Jim joined after most (more than 80%) of the guitars already laid down and he re-recorded them while finishing the album. The songs he re-recorded he didn't change, it was still I believe Donnie Steele's riffs and stuff

This is honestly one of their most technically advanced songs. The creative riffs were inspired by Master of Puppets, and Joey kills it on the drums. One of their best songs imo. you should def check out their heaviest song from ahig, This Cold Black

Ernesto Schnack's acoustic covers of Tool would blow your minds away. He plays everything, Maynard's vocals, bass, guitar and even manages to play Danny's drumming all on one guitar. Unbelievably good.
“Dead Memories” “This Cold Black” “Gehenna” and “Child of Burning Time” are musts. Fun fact they close every show playing the album version of “Child of Burning Time” over the speakers.
EDIT: It was “Til’ We Die” played at the end of shows not “Child of Burning Time.”
Actually, they do that with "Til We Die". I was just at a concert of theirs and Til We Die played in the background at the end. Great tracks though.

Drummer is Joey. This is the last album with all of the original nine. Paul died shortly after this album, Joey was kicked out like 4 or 5 years after, Chris was kicked out during We Are Not Your Kind, Joey died last year.

So there's a song called THE NAMELESS by Slipknot BUT the MV is not the album version, idk if u know but Duality and Before(u reacted r NOT THE ALBUM EITHER, they are longer and more FIRE than the music video version) so u guys should react to the lyrics the audio of "The Nameless" coz its the album version,

Gematria, finally! ❤️ Now you can react to Rivers of Nihil - Where Owls Know My Name (official video) and/or Polyphia - Goat (official video). Both songs are great and reactors always love them. You'll enjoy them. Trust me. You'll regret not doing them earlier. A lot of people have reacted to those songs. Just look up how many videos there are on CZcams for both songs. They'll be worth it.

I beg of you, please revisit Mudvayne’s first album LD50. It’s pure gold and the crown jewels are Know Forever and Nothing To Gein (written from the point of view of Ed Gein the serial killer). These would be phenomenal if you’re looking for more nu metal songs to do.

I freaking LOVE the intro with Corey and Lars! Hahahaha... I have NEVER understood how Slipknot was put in the nu-metal genre... To me they sound like a progressive Thrash / Hardcore hybrid. Like how Soundgarden ended up in the grunge genre, it just makes zero sense to me! Soundgarden is so obviously heavy metal in the Black Sabbath school.

By now Slipknot has done everything from total thrash to hardcore to soft almost Pink Floydish landscapes. You shouldn't EVER use "nu-metal" to introduce a band man lol. That is a swearword imo. In the end of the 80's the black people listening to mostly rap where I lived started wearing "..and Justice For All" Metallica shirts, because they identified with that chuggy sound and those lyrics. Don't underestimate people bro!
