- Hello hello! I just recently got finished recruitment at the University of Alabama and it was so much fun! I know this video is really long but I hope it can help anyone looking for advice, experience or outfit ideas. Keep in mind that every university does their recruitment a little differently, so some days/events/clothing might not apply for everyone.

Most people in the US don't participate in Greek life, it definitely exists but it is not the majority lol, also she is in Alabama which is the deep south and Greek life in southern states is much more prominent than other areas of the country
It’s fascinating to me and I live in Texas where sororities are giant

Awe! I totally got teary eyed when you finally got your house and was so excited. I rushed when I was in college, got accepted to Phi Mu which was the sorority I wanted. Although I was not able to stay in it for as long as I Wanted, the whole experience is amazing and I would definitely recommend it to everyone. It’s such a unique event going through all the groups and you picking them and finding out they picked you too. Also finding out the stories behind each one, all the way from their philanthropies to the sisterhood moments where all the events are like top secret! Lol! I’m so glad I did it and will never forget it. I wish we had actual dorm houses like you do, but for some reason only the fraternities have houses at FIU. That may have changed now. It’s been so long. I love your videos! Totally binge watching!
You're so cute lol. I love that you went through recruitment at a later age. I went through it as a sophomore and it's definitely an amazing experience even if you aren't 18 and fresh outta HS. Love your content :)

What are Bid Days like at University of Alabama? Like are the themed? I saw on your insta that it’s more of an elegant bid day where the members dress nice and the new members get plain shirts with letters.

when did u get your shirt for philanthropy? how did you match your shirts and shorts so well?!
We saw the designs for our shirts I think* a month before rush week! And we got them during convocation (the day before rush actually starts). They normally stick to a baby blue and white shirt, so I based it off of that! Lilly Pulitzer or khaki always goes really well with anything!

I realize this might be a stupid question, but when does Rush week take place? Like does it happen before school/classes start, or are you having to miss class to go to rush week?
depends on the school, alabama does it before but most of my friends have it on the weekend

No not at all!! I think that’s something that can make you stand out! If they bring it up during recruitment I would totally be open and honest with it💖 I am going to be posting a sorority rush series soon!
