I lived in a basement apartment and the cat upstairs would occasionally, but rarely, visit me. He wouldn’t stay long when he did. Well, one night I got a call that my mom had died and I raced back home to tend to her affairs. A few days later, when I returned to my city, as I opened my basement entrance, he was waiting there for me. He followed me in and didn’t leave my side as I unpacked etc When I got into bed, he laid by my side and cuddled close to me…he saw me through my tears and grief, spent the entire night with me (which he had never done before) and when I was a little more ‘together’ he gave me a kiss and left, heading back upstairs. But for a period of about 20 hours, he didn’t leave my side and comforted me as best as he could. He just knew somehow that I needed him. Unreal. ❤️
They can smell the cortisol we release. They even did a study finding that cats can tell when we're fearful due to cortisol so it makes sense he smelt your grief because we dump a lot of cortisol when we grieve too. Like we instinctively respond to the tears on someone's face, he responded to your scent and tried to comfort you which is pretty amazing. I shake my head sometimes when some people doubt that animals have rich emotional lives. Yes, they have feelings, and they can think. They prove it every day.....they reason, they figure things out, they love deeply, they grieve when they lose a loved friend....they travel, alone, thousands of miles to be reunited with those they love when they become separated. They may not do calculus on a blackboard, but they definitely have thinking minds and hearts.

@@kyledimeff441 OMG, I am so sorry. I didn't mention it, but my boys had a sister that we adopted with them. The same thing happened to her. Only 5 years old, she had the same type of clot that paralyzed her legs. My husband brought her to the vet and they put her down. I was devastated, as I was in the hospital when it happened and I couldn't be there. Felt so cheated on many levels. Found out that this was not uncommon, but it did clue us to be aware of heart and lung problems with her brothers, which did result in their demise 5 years after that. They were all rescues, but I understand that pure breeds are also subject to it. Small consolation, I know. Putting them down may be the best for them, but I felt horrible making that decision, worse when he passed in my arms, and utterly gutted handing him back to the vet and going home empty handed, knowing that I would never enjoy their love again.

My wife suffers through migraines. I have a picture of her with 3 cats around her head and 1 on top of her. They (or at least 1-2) always gathered close to her just before or right after an attack. Have another of her BR door shut cause she wanted dark and 4 were either lying or digging (no claws) at the floor and reaching under the door. I ask if she wanted them in (she always had 1 in her room, never came out) so later all 5 were on or around her, snugged up. They really went nuts if she cried.

You need to correct your very poor English, riddled with mistakes.
Mistakes you do not want to see.

If a kangaroo wanted to hug me, I’d stand there all day.
i love this channel 💙
Absolutely beautiful to se....amazing how little humans know of animal emotions.
1:18 if a dolphin does that it's cute, but I do the same is sexual assault and " I issue a restrain order : you can't get closer than 100 mt to this woman " , man this is discrimination 🤣
1:02 dogs like “don’t worry bro I got you”
My cat who died in 2021 would wait for me to get home from work and hug me. Every time I was sleeping or was sick he would be right by my side. My wife always joked about him being my son. He was an orange tabby and the coolest most loving animal I ever owned. That's saying a lot because we have a golden retriever as well
Oh my! I feel you. I had TWO orange and white tabbing and lost them both last year (2021) 4 months apart. Only 10 years old. Cried my eyes out for months. They are pictured in my icon pic. Pip & Squeak... lovely personalities. Wish talking buttons had come out earlier cuz Pip understood English, I swear. At least he knew how to train me. Squeak was my big cuddle bug.
@@leewhite-graham753 my cat was almost 10 years old when he passed. He had a blood clot and his back legs were paralyzed. I had to put him down. That was the hardest thing I've ever done
2021 was when my cat died as well. That was be beginning of the worst year ever. My wife had a miscarriage in late 2020 around June I would say. We moved into our house and things looked like they were going to change for the better with the pandemic coming to an end but that wasn't the case. My cat died in January then 2 weeks later one of my best friends mom died and my best friend died later on that year from fentanyl. Things have improved since and are looking up. Losing 2 animals in 1 year must have been rough. I can't imagine it. I get super attached to all my pets
Lee. You are an amazing person. You have never met me before and you have been there for me. Thank you for that. I don't really mention what I'm going through to anyone because no one cares. You have listened and I feel better. You have no idea what you have done for me. Thani you
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOO LA REACCIONES DE LOS ANIMALES CUANDO LE DAMOS AMOR ES TANNN TIERNO EL MOMENTO. EL DE LA TORTUGUITA ME ASOMBRO Y DEL CANGURO😊
We may be different species, but all living beings love love and this video proves it. Love is the most commonly understood language across all animals and it transcends communication thresholds and language barriers
Thank you for that!!!😊💗
My wife suffers through migraines.
This is the most wholesome video I've ever watched in my life🙂
So cute, they could be very best friend for us.
3:15 i thought the girl said chicken nugget 😭😭😭
i like how you get straight to the point without extra talking for more video time
Amazing, amazing video. Thanks for posting.
This is so adorable 😍
