- 🏁 VW Golf R facelift Black Edition - do you like this darkened look in comparison to the normal Golf 8 R? The VW Golf R facelift comes with a new Front with air curtains and lights, illuminated VW logo, LED plus lamps are standard, optional IQ Light matrix LED, then you also have cascading turning indicators. 18“ wheels are standard, optional 19“ or 19“ forged wheels (20 percent lighter) as shown. DCC adaptive suspension is standard depending on the market (-20 mm). Optional you get the Akrapovic exhaust for the hatch. Golf R’s original color is blue, it looks nice on full black too, I’d choose the 🔵

It has everything I wanted in my 2024...except the manual, so I had to pull the trigger on mine.
Love the look of both of them. The black looks really evil in some ways but it also looks like it's ready to turn heads on the streets. Wish the blue was available on the Polo and Golf GTI's. Love your work by the way.

It's beauty is a discreet one. The lack of boy racer spoilers and other tacky 'Halfords-like' add-ons makes it the kind of car that interests me.

Low build quality (marginally better than a kia hyunday) bad oil consumption, 4 cyllinders to name a few.

Black is better just for the single fact it doesnt have that stupid blue strip around the headlights
With the Black style option, the blue line will be black (instead of blue) just like the side mirrors, rims and tailpipes.

Is it worth it to you? You get a 400 horsepower hatchback. Probably the best sounding hatchback on the market too. Most would say that paying so much isn’t worth it for a small car. But at long as it makes you feel happy whenever you’re driving it, then it’s worth it my friend

@@verde629 I see. IMO the sedan also looks very good. And if I had the chance to choose between the hatchback and sedan, It’s would be very hard to choose between the two. Due to living in Europe, I might take the hatchback over the sedan because it’s that tad bit shorter, which always helps when living in Europe. A clean rs3 sedan is probably better looking than the rs3 though. Just a bit better looking
Every Mk8 Golf R I see nowadays is Lapiz Blue. They don't even stand out any more, but in black the car looks sinister and sophisticated and very fresh looking. Black is my colour.

I don't like the black edition at all . The car with its boxy shape needs a brighter colour with some contrast . 19 inch wheels also to be avoided.
Can still get black edition with blue or white color. Might look really good with the blue contrast
@@davedaraver32 Well we need the car to be available on the configurator to try all these combinations . Didn't know the black edition had white and blue . Thought they were only available for the regular one .
