@@Redandwhite_bluesuedeshoes The anglosaxons have created a culture of pretending because they were poor farmers living with their animals in a hut. Greeks are unsofisticated and do as they please. For that reason in Canada or America , Australia and the north o Europe greeks are ostracised. Another reason is that the people who emigrated to those countries were left without nothing because the politicians stole the money from Marshal plan which was supposed to ease poverty and homelesness.
Nowadays when a Greeks emigrate and speak several languagues still dont understand since they dont know anything about modern history. They are very surprised thinking hmm how come and you know things.There is also a contradiction greek culture is everywhere and all the developed countries feel unconfortable about this contradiction.
They should have NEVER given him the OSCAR ! Or they should have taken it back a few days later!!!
Your opinion is accepted, but my opinion is that they did good by giving to him and they did good on banning-"erasing" as an actor him...
It probably wouldn't have been unjustified if they'd taken it back. Good point.
@@WWEmAnIaAc That depends on what you mean by him being 'erased' as an actor. While he's stepped down from the Academy (which means he's not able to vote in future), and has been banned from Academy events for 10 years, The Washington Post says that Smith is actually still eligible to be nominated, and to win awards. It'll just depend on whether anyone is willing to work with him now after all this.
