Really awesome video Will! New systems are always exciting even more so when you bang some solid fish!! Best fishing in my opinion really good watch brother yew!
Really solid fish Will. Looks like a good trip. I spent the last two days slow rolling chatter baits in the Hunter River. Not a single fish 🤣 40mm chubby mid divers delivered though. Few bass and bream. Any tips for the charter baits? First time using them. Tried a 2.5" paddle tail and a 3" grub as trailers.
Try changing the speeds up mate, sometimes the best success I've had on chatters has been burning them quickly just under the surface where they almost form a wake and they get a reaction bite out of the fish. Also have some with and some without plastics added sometimes adding the plastics can reduce the real estate on the hook giving you less purchase area to pin a fish the same way weed guards can get in the way and if the fish are short striking they'll hit the tail all day. Long story short is in a perfect chatterbait world, have a couple with tails and a couple without and some varying colour for different water clarity 👌 not super affordable if buying genuine jackalls etc but if ya jump onto aliexpress or similar you can pretty much get 4 for the price of 1.
@Green Machine its interesting you say that. I found rolling crank baits got very little interesting but telling them at decent speed produced fish. I will try speeding it up next time. Thanks mate
Beautiful place boys, great work on the video. That stack was narly.
Nice clip mate. Some great fish. How many km do you do in a days kayak fishing
Cheers mate! It does vary depending on the day but it would be between 6-14km
Some great fish there, what an awesome river!
Cracking fish! Well done guys.

Cheers mate! Definitely is more exciting exploring new systems especially when it pays off with some good fish
i stacked it a couple days ago in the williams river
It’s very easy to do in those rapids
Thats what kayak fishing is all about Will, hard to get to backwater with fat fish in it. Nice.
Looks like an amazing system mate! Awesome clip as well. Chatterbaits are so underrated some times, so versatile. Keep the vids coming man!
Appreciate it legend 🤙🏽
Thats some beautiful snaggy water there man 👍 ripper fish 💪
Cheers mate! Definitely makes it more of a challenge but the reward is worth it
