I have a thing about severed hands especially after watching a film when I was a pre teen about a severed hand that killed. It gave me a terrible nightmare and even now as an adult it still freaks me out. Thanks CTFDN for sharing.

Hey, Billy, and thanks for listening. I would say most likely. Sometimes you just got to bend reality out of shape a bit for story purposes. My initial draft had the other officer waiting for backup and witnessing the house shake from the outside but it just didn't feel personal and as intimate as the rest of the story. In other words, it just wasn't as creepy. So, I brought him inside so he could witness everything firsthand.
Damn good narrating!!! But I'm getting a little tired of the cliffhanger endings that seem to be the trend these days. Other than that the stories were not bad!
