DCE needs a reality check if he thought Murray should have been sent off. Should have a hard look at himself and count himself lucky
He's right though, a player coming off the bench to get involved in swinging some handbags should get sent off, and him pushing for that is exactly what any captain would and should be doing. Doesn't excuse any of the DCE himself or any of the players did though.
So half of Queensland's bench should have been sent off aswell by your logic

DCE was constantly whinging all match to the ref, and totally agree with your statement above. I can't believe some of the ref's calls, especially stopping the game for the penalty try. Queensland got more penalties in game 2 and 3 with 2 each in game 1. Klein is not a great ref and slater and DCE look like sore loosers.

@@dd6193 Queensland also let in the most points in one half of state of origin, EVER! NSW were the much better team and this team from game 2 and 3 would also have won game 1. Puts interest back into state of origin outcomes after getting boring with Queensland just expecting to win all the time.

The very same penalty against Chricton, doing a coathanger tackle Game 2, overlooked in game three. Walsh did it twice within 11 minutes, that is when I knew we were up against 16 players.
Without the send off in game 1 it’s a sweep
Stats guy and first game I've ever seen where one team had more yardage and PCM yet had the slower play the ball. And also the first time I've seen a team finish with a play the ball time of over 4 seconds. Ever. Qld complaining about Klein? Should be thanking him. It kept it close.

The better team won the series pure and simple, look when new South Wales lose the series under Brad Fittler he also acted like a sore loser complaining to the refs! People are people they are human and they too have emotions! Both Brad Fittler in previous years and now Billy slater should not be complaining, let's just accept the result and move on! When we lose we should acknowledge the winner and vise versa! That's my belief and that's my way!

I have a conspiracy theory that Thurston had influence over the Fifita snub, the whole backflip contract negotiations going back & forth from Titans to Roosters is eerily similar to what DCE did when he reneged on his deal with Titans to stay with Manly years ago. Notice DCE didn’t even make the bench after that saga until Thurston & co retired. Ironically they had to stick to their word since DCE is now skipper which would cause internal uproar due to double standards.

They were down on their best forwards before the series even started. That bench for game 3 was a real headscratcher.

if QLD were smart theyd play Sam Walker at either 7 or 14 next year. his unpredictability could benefit them imo
He's good, for sure. Dearden has no place on the team. Walker and DCE would be good halves. Mam at 14. Then 3 actual big impactful forwards making up the rest of the bench (like gee, I dunno... fifita?).

Turn it up ! Klein turned a blind eye to QLD lying in the ruck and marker interference all game. DCE was one of the main culprits. No wonder he's going to sport a shiner, lol. And the bogan Lang Park crowd still couldn't lift the Maroons to score a try. Billy is not an NRL standard coach, unlike Madge McGuire.
