You often hear about the "artistry" of skilled craftsmen in their work but nothing has ever demonstrated this as well as this video, showing the obsessive approach taken by Isaiah in his deft handling of his equipment and his fanatical mindset towards both the technical performance AND the visual appearance of the 4-rotor's turbo setup!

I recommend ceramic coating the exhaust, as well as a metal heat shield along that passenger fender so the melty melts stay away.

I love all the fab work in these videos. You guys crushed it. I've started going back to the earlier videos just to watch the evolution of the 4 rotor.
I was told with every bend it takes more air to make the same pressures so haven a strait throw waste gate just seemed the way to go but never seen anyone do it. It amazing nobody made that yet. That's gonna work great. 💪

I know it's late to ask, but are you planning to brace the outside with a metal plate similar to what the M3 Gtr did for its exhaust? That way it won't burn off the paint/wrap?
A CNC Milled one would be really 🔥 & 😎 🆒️ 😎, with little Rotors "Spinning" around the BIG center outlet rotor!

I love watching all of the fab work that's put into this and just the passion and knowledge that everyone has and just the tender care everyone puts in. I'd do a lot to even have the chance to work on something like that. Also the music and just the overall vibe of the videos is so relaxing its like watching Bob Ross but with metal, wires, and very small but powerful explosions.

The exhaust will definetly damage the parts around it given how much fire you'll send through it. Are you planning on putting some form of shielding on the fender?
for the next exhaust tip rob can probably use the cnc to make a mandrel for pressing the perfect shape

Hey Rob just a thought, you could clock your turbo EDIT hotside* about 90° forward and have your intercooler inlet pipe match run down by the throttle body inlet pipe. The coolant cap might be in the way though.
If not it's a perfect car regardless.

My favorite part of Rob's builds are the fact that they're equal parts genius and jank. It makes it so relatable! It feels like what would happen if I had an unlimited budget and all the tools. In spite of the unimaginable scope of this build, it is still down to earth.
Other car CZcamsrs just aren't like that. Personally I don't get stoked at seeing someone be like "Yeah so here's a cool car in my 300,000 square foot shop in my 100 acre private dreamland..." *Cut* "Here's the cool are all finished (by the employees). Pretty sweet hey?". That's not a thing that could ever happen to us! Where as Rob's setup is straight up what I imagined my builds would be like when I was a little kid.

Question for you, after putting in all that work into the body, do you plan to wrap the exhaust or add a gasket around it to prevent heat transfer to the body?

On the triangular piece you had the right idea but you want a full mold that your pressing onto. Weld sheet metal between the tube and grind the welds. Make sure it's the exact dimension all around.

Rob, i was thinking, are you able to put the exaust port underneath the car? Because you could use the exess energy of the exaust gasses to increase the car's downforce, and that could give you some more speed

I've been watching this channel for fore to five years now and I realized that Rob is not ending his video's like most CZcamsrs do, but I still enjoy the content, I just wish I could be there, or have my own shop
So enjoying this build. The craftsmanship that is going into this is amazing. It's always great to see people performing their craft and the ingenuity that goes into custom work.
At the rate I'm going, it'll take a full hour to get through this video - I have to pause every 5-seconds to marvel at how absolutely beautiful this is.
I started watching this project cause fast car bang bang pop pop VROOM....but these days I enjoy the sheer craftsmanship that Isiah puts into his work. This project destroys the line between engineering and art.

Isaiah, the best trick I was given for metal forming is ask the metal move, don't demand it. I.e. Several meaningful, controlled thuds is better than a couple big bangs.
Edit: that also goes for Rob doing "body work" when then Carbon hatch rubbed the roof.
That being said, sometimes you gotta tell the metal that it's fucking time to move

Not sure if you already thought about it or getting it painted but can try getting the tube frame dry ice blasted get rid of all the surface rust and any other dirt grease etc in engine Bay Area 🤙🤙🤙 car is coming along so well 👌👌
