  • The Circa 74 amp concept was simple. Build an attractive, great sounding acoustic amplifier that will appeal to acoustic players and singers alike that mimics a nice piece of furniture. Make it practical and easy to use and allow it to sound great with a variety of acoustic pick ups from various manufacturers.
    Sound and vision
First and foremost, the goal was to build an amp that has a warm, smooth sound, that captured an analog musical character. It was also important to make sure the amp looked like a high end piece of furniture. With a mahogany cabinet and retro grill cloth, the amp evokes a look that matches its sound.
    Design highlights
The Circa 74 amp features two input channels with independent channel, volume, and EQ controls so you can mix acoustic guitar and vocals easily. The amp is designed to work with a host of acoustic pickups from various makers as well as various microphone manufacturers to ensure compatibility and versatility. With 150 watts of Class-D power through a 10″ full range speaker, the amp is perfect for coffee shops, small venues, outdoor weddings, and preserves it’s sonic fidelity even with higher volume levels. With three band eq and reverb, additional inputs and outputs (1/8″ aux input, 1/8″ headphone out, 1/4″ line out, XLR direct out), Bluetooth connectivity, and a matching mahogany stand to augment the acoustic sound, the Circa 74 amp is the perfect amp to accompany acoustic players, singer songwriters, enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Nice sounding guitar. I play my acoustics through a bullet harmonica micrphone and a Fender Deluxe 90 tube amp. I do not have any pre amp on my guitars.

Yes - playing my 000-15SM that I bought from you guys last year through it. Great blues tone. That Martin 15 Series guitar is so under-rated@@eddiesguitars

No one has any review if I want to use acoustic guitar without pick up with microphone and singing? Should I use PA or acoustic amp and which one for very small group of people?

No Reverb? Interesting, sounds good but I can’t believe they didn’t at least put Reverb in there.

What good is an amp that has to be micd?

What makes you think it has to be micd? There are actually several demos out there for this that don't mic up the amp.

We had to use a microphone so you could hear the amp in the video! There are also examples of the straight to mixer DI sound too.
