veo comentarios que me hacen pensar que hay gente que no evoluciona (y la respeto) y se ha quedado estancada en los años 90. Oscar Mulero a Dios gracias ha evolucionado marcándose unos set de escándalo, con un Techno que solo unos pocos privilegiados sabemos entender . Tuve la suerte de disfrutarlo y oírlo en directo en New World y sigo disfrutando al día de hoy de este gran artista.

Pues a mí me parece pura rayada infumable, en los 90 sí que ponía Buenos temas, ahora es lo que toca, o pinchas este tipo de techno o pastel de postureo tipo Flauntin, o así, en mi opinion. ..
Nadie sigue en su linea, ahora es solo sobrevivir vendiendo tu imagen y la música que impone la industria, es duro pero hay que comer.Tiempos muy duros y vacios vivimos en todos los aspectos . BTW, ahora se está copiando mucho al Mills de los ultimos tiempos.

Hello everyone, since I really enjoy sets played by artists at Dommune, I wonder what type of genre of techno are they exactly? How would you name it? I would be really happy to have a specific name because the music is always on top and I want to understand why is that.

Artists who perform for Dommune are pretty wide genre wise and it is hard to say something spesific. They are most likely has their unique sounds but you can say it is more of underground side of techno then common techno. If you wanna give a name for this genre i would name it "pretty damn good techno"
Jokes aside, you can find this genre of techno tracks named under "raw/deep/hypnotic" on beatport. But like i said it is still not enough for exact categorization. It would be much more accurate to start from artist and labels.
Oscar Mulero is one of the "Titans" for this type of music and his labels like Pole Group, Warm Up Recordings has always has great releases and artists and one of the most influential labels for the genre.
Artists like Luke Slater, Lewis Fautzi, Tensal, Takaaki Itoh, Rodhad, Function and many more are few of my many favourite artists.
So i would say just start from what you like to hear most and you will find your favourite sounds eventually.

Techno as a whole phenomenon has so many sides and artists, that just saying that an individual likes techno could be unfair, due to the differences within. Let me give you an example, an artist like spfdj is producing a sound that is not appealing to my taste at all. What I find more interesting is, that is not only about the music right? It’s the general construct, where the image, the visual construct comes together with the music and creates a performative act, I would say. It’s indeed important to know, what one likes and what one does not like, so in that manner, I’m gonna explore more and try to start more from the artists and labels, as you suggest, to refine my taste. So, Thank you for this one and for sharing the actual names of artists you like too!
Fun fact: I got invited to dommune in Tokyo a while ago and missed the chance, hoping to return and have another try. I love this project so much!
