How Hard is it to Beat Borderlands 3 As A Scavenger?

- It seems I managed to find one loot pool that doesn't drop legendaries.
I started this run expecting it to be completely normal, but I guess the sources I loot in my scavenger runs have completely different pools than normal, and for some reason, a non-existent legendary drop rate, as is I didn't get a single one this run. Just like the other runs, the combat was just slow and annoying, and new weapons being so rare definitely didn't help any. Thankfully, Borderlands 3 is insanely easy compared to the other games and gives you tons of lifelines, especially in boss fights.
I'm also sorry about the mic glitching out a lot. I have no clue why it's doing that, and I'm pretty sure it has something to do with my editing software, considering I sound fine everywhere else. That is just great because I have no clue where to begin to search for the issue.
I'm also interested in what you guys think about no death counter. Do you want one, or is it better without it? I die so few times in these runs that I think just highlighting the best ones is better than that annoying counter. - Hry

Thank you very much! And I get what you are saying, but it was my editing software that doesn't like the mic. It's normal every other time, but not when I really need it to work.
was wondering when you would do this challenge. i tried it myself but it was more looter than scavenger. i just couldn't buy grenades or guns from vendors (like your runs ammo from vendors is okay) but unlike your run i allowed enemy drops and mission rewards and one small rule allowing earls shop because its hella exspensive and usually has nothing good. also despite what a lot of people will say about bl3 I really like it. so much was overhauled in it and honestly i dont give a shit about the story (which a ton of people dont like) and also the legendary drop rate in my eyes is not a problem. a lot of people do not like grinding and increasing legendary drop rates is a great way to avoid long grinds for certain guns.
I definitely think I would play more if I just hadn't played so much before. I still might do more challenge runs sometime, and I want to make an infinite duration Iron Cub build sometime, but I have so many other games to play and record that BL3 is super low on my priority list for now.

You should have taken the starter gun abd shield, theyre both from svavenger loot pools (not sure aure on shield)
I would have to do a few playthroughs to check, but I think the starter pistol is the same, like BL2, and the shields are from a common chest pool.
Borderlands (any) but you have to use the last weapon (or two to four depending on how many slots are open) dropped? Just an idea I had
I like the idea, but I'm like 99% sure that someone else has done it (in BL2) already. I could do it in other Borderlands games however...

I got the idea partly from years of bad loot luck leaving a lot of sessions already doing it, partly from Nerbit doing similar runs in fallout with different rules, though I definitely forgot that second part till just now
I am super interested in trying it for myself, and I added it to my list, so I hope to do it someday, thank you for the suggestion!

That's just how cursed some Borderlands runs are... You say something as a joke one time, and it will eventually become a reality. Just like LilGasMask666's Exp-Jet Loader (I think that was it).

When you think of something so cursed, Borderlands will find a way to make it happen. That's one of the best parts of this game for sure.
