How Hard is it to Beat Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel as a Scavenger?

- Since the last run was unique-only, I completely forgot how bad the drop rate for anything was in this game. Huge mistake.
This is probably my shortest run so far, at only 10 hours for the game itself. In the end, I looted items from 1838 sources, but I swear I got less than like 50 items. I knew legendary drop rates were bad, but I wasn't expecting this. That's also why this video is shorter than usual, the combat was super slow and repetitive, and I didn't do the DLCs because of my horrible gear and being under-leveled. On the bright side, I now have an appreciation for normal runs and being able to use whatever gear you want. - Hry
It appears that some of the audio cuts out in the end, which makes no sense because it's normal in the file, but not much I can do about it now.

In Concordia the drop rate for blue smash are very likely. For me I got the Dahl smg

9:12 for the one that spins in a cylinder pattern, I aim for the top and wait for the blue core to be at the top, it’s consistent for me. As for the one that transitions cores very fast, what worked for me was aiming at the top, saying “blue” repeatedly everytime that core turns blue until I mentally follow the pattern, then I close my eyes and continue to say “blue” and eventually tap the trigger as soon as I say “blue” again and it works.
I've never really strategized for those, I usually just try my best, but next time I do this, I'll find this comment. It's also me being slightly impatient and wanting to get on the story that messes me up.

14:42 first phase sentinel is cryo resistant and has no crit spot, two things that Aurelia relies heavily on for damage. Aurelia also struggles on the raid version of this boss for this very reason. Empyrean phase is susceptible to cryo damage and has a massive weak spot for critical hits, making it easier for pretty much everyone but especially for Aurelia.
Well that explains it, because that is exactly how it went. I guess that's another reason I don't really play Aurelia. (The fight is probably easier with actual gear, just a guess.)

That's exactly what I was thinking when I chose her. The combo of that and having not played as her in a while made her a perfect choice for this run!
Agreed, meteorites can have loot chest in them.
I just never knew that they exist. Makes you wonder how many other encounters there are like this in the series.

Honestly having claptrap as a character is just to fun
The main reason I don't play it more is because BL2 gets more views, but I love it as much as BL2 and BL1, I just wish there was more end-game content.
