Great video. I must learn to do this myself. 7 out of 10 barbers will push it down. Same with the neck line and clippers, they always push it up too far. You’ll have clean lines but a shallow beard.

Agree with you 100% about using the straight razor.. I noticed time after time I kept pushing my beard down lower and lower eventually I had to start over and I promised I won’t make that mistake again. Ordered andis t outlined and I’m going to create a strong line going that route! Beast beard!

You are Right about the liner going lower and lower one I stooped going for the super crisp lines that went away now I stay on my old line and yes stretch the Skin as you said that Point cant he stressed enough
great symmetrical beard and solid information!! all of it helps me and I can apply in a somewhat modified manner because you are genetically blessed with more to work with than I do. :) If I go for a clean sharp edge on my cheek line, I risk it dropping too low on the check. I am not a fan of such a look, nor am I a fan of the beard that was trimmed following the jaw line instead of the neck line. Such a beard gives the distracting illusion of a face too big for its beard. Great job, thanks for the tips!!

brother what do you use to moisturize your beard?
lawrence wooten i use conditioner on my beard in the shower and a lil oil when I get out the shower. Using oil for me helps because it’s not heavy.

Im just kidding, I have been a bearded man since 16. And always done my own beard, back in 94 it wasnt common to have a beard especially an Italian white guy so no one in the shops did a better job than I could have done myself goatees were big big back then and from trial and error. I had to have a goatee many times due to messing up my beard shaving it off and growing it back, now its second nature, and i use a straight blade on my edge ups or line ups but i dont keep em as crisp as i use to that style is played for one and two its for younger cats
