The worst is having Cheek line drama due to a Barber that doesn't listen to your instructions. Now lm leaning to line up my beard myself due to that simple thing barbers pushing the line way low.

My cheek line is naturally low, so I work with what I got.. I do want a full beard as I do have some places where hair doesn’t grow, and I accept it. There’s nothing I can do tbh… gotta embrace it. I just took a pic of your line at 11:44 so I can take it into my next appt. Mine is basically like yours but I plan to cover the gap by growing out the ends of my mustache. Every barber I've been to in NC drops it beneath the "problem" area, even after I explain myself. It's like there is some memo out there that says I don't know what I'm talking about, lol.

This is one of my biggest issues with 99% of babrbers I ask them to keep it high because I know where it grows to and my bard is almost full but I rather the natural look with a clean lineup over. But a lot of the time they cut it to where it’s fuller to make it look clean or add the BLACK lol

Great information in detail, however I would've liked to have seen what the look would have been if you did not grow your mustache to offset, and have went with the low cheek line as most of us can't grow the high cheek line that you used.
I have the same issue, so I just grow a longer mustache I can't bring myself to dropping the cheek lines 😅 👊

So what are you doing different these days? When I first started watching your beard was way longer. It's still full and clean, but like you said in this video "beard envy".
For the past few months I have been letting everything grow untouched so I can see what can be worked with on mustache area. Man it grows thick matching my goatee area. So recently I've bought a good pair of shears to snip split ends and that's it. Soon or later I'm going to have to touch the canvas and do this beard cheek line setting. You can't trust barbers not to set too low and go beyond your vision.
I have done some trims but mostly to my chin my underbeard is way longer than it looks. I don’t twist my beard anymore so it’s not stretched. Thanks for the feedback and continued success on your beard journey sounds like your hitting your goals!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾👊🏾

I talked about it in a video just using a plain carrier oil for that so that you are not using all of your more expensive blended beard oils. Just pick any of your favorite carrier oils that absorb well into the skin
@@BeardedExistence do you have any recommendations cause I have only been using beard oil and butter I don’t know which oil is good so any suggestions are appreciated idk if I should use Argan,jojoba or coconut I am from Canadian and Jamaican decent not that I think it matters but any info appreciated
Jojoba or argon are both good choices I would also have her do the massage on your wash day so that you can wash all the excess oil out after. I would let it sit in for a while after then wash it out. Hope this helped 👊🏾
