That jack has a safety overpressure relief device calibrated to release and maintain pressure at about 380 tons. The 500 tons was the cylinder bottoming out. Most decent jacks of 25 tons or better have a similar safety device. Took it like a champ.
@@jeepsblackpowderandlights4305 actually 50k tons would be enough to put you into Superdreadnaught range, and only two ships have been in that weight class ever since WW2 ended in 1945.
I don’t know what’s more impressive. Spending thousands$ on that bottle jack for testing, or how easily he managed to lift that roughly 100kg/220lbs out of the box.
These type bottle-jacks are extremely reliable, and by the very nature of their construction, they tend to be at least 3 times stronger than design specs indicate, but as they are cheap to manufacture, so they can play with the actual jack sizes and labels, for marketing strategy, product diversity and manipulation of prices, and the added bonus is, whatever the rating, it comes with tons and tons of safety margins built in already. Nice product, almost no after-sales problems.
I wonder if the valve in the 2 ton orange jack is the same as in the 100 ton orange jack? I would like to see the 100 ton valve "after" autopsy. Any real damage or just the safety letting go and resetting? I have a pair of 30ton jacks and those are about all I can lift and carry. Was that 66 kilos marked on the 100 ton shipping crate? Now, who has a need for a 100 ton jack? Thats about 50 cars.

180 ton maximum margin of safety,,,,,,, not bad, Eh!
@@shitloveaduck 280 ton pal...
@@jinnygaatjenietaan306 - hahaha. Yep!!
So the design factor is almost 1:4. 380T is like five modern battle tanks. That indeed is impressive.
@@dadgarage7966for when you need to move 5 mbts... 6 inches at a time
That is incredibly impressive. If I were that company I’d pay for this footage as an advertisement. That is a very high quality piece of equipment.
YES!👍👍👍
Those Russians know what the hell they're doing! Damn, that was mind blowing.
I expected that jack to go off like a bomb - glad I was wrong
I think all of us should have a jack like this. Not because we need one, because it's cool to have one 😀.
I wonder if you could use it to crush stuff kinda like a cheaper hydraulic press. Then again they might cost the same 🤔
You could make a chair outta it ! A 100T jack chair that can change height lol 🤣🤣
THEN WHEN SOMEONE WOULD ASK IF YOU HAVE A JACK THEY COULD USE
My thoughts exactly
If it would fit under my car I would buy it.
Does anyone else have this overwhelming need to buy a 100 ton jack? 😳
Strength of Hercules.
They're very expensive
Лучше бы он был на калесиках
It would have been better if he had been on the rocks
yes
It's like when two of the most baddest fighters ever known finally get into the ring.
This channel never disappoints 👍🏽👍🏽
Pretty impressive that it held 3,8 X what it is rated for and still worked after it had 500 tons on it. :)
Incredibly well built jack! Thanks for the dedication and investment you put into this video. I hope others appreciate your sacrifice.
Very impressive that jack withstood that pressure ! Thanks for the video.
Ele é praticamente uma prensa portátil, manual!
Aprovadíssimo!
Awesome video thanks for sharing. I'm glad you didn't destroy that 100 Ton jack.👍👍
That jack had enough capacity to lift any truck, and a small battleship loaded on the truck.

it's all about the leverage, and how much elbow grease you can put out without breaking LOL
It weights about 75 kg but if you dont have strenght it can feel like 100 or 1000kg.
And it costs about 300 dollars/euros.

When you have to pick up your bottle jack with a chain fall, you've got one heck of a bottle jack.
Make a hydraulic press out of it! Use it as a 100 ton hydraulic press! haha! It survived the 500 ton thats insane!
THATS A HELL OF A JACK, THAT BRAND WOULD BE WELL WORTH BUYING
Ah yes, using a jack to lift a jack under another jack to crush a jack.
Well, that jack is a boss!
That 100 ton jack is a superhero
I wanna see this kind of test on a jack that doesn't have an overpressure release and watch it detonate like a block of c4

Whew! 500 tons and NO serious destruction!!! Yayyy!!
The first time I came across I thought it was a mini press vs press without seeing the titles, that's why I thought that xD
So this jack can lift 2 military tanks stacked on top of each other. And even the huge heavy ships can't damage it either
the most worthy contender so far
Impressionante a robustez deste macaco hidráulico.
Fantástico!
“do not repeat at home what you see in this video” yeah, cause we all just have 500 ton hydraulic presses hanging around
...that's a big boy. Thanks for the post, that's definitely a nifty.,...
Finally, a jack strong enough to lift your mom.
Well built jack!!!!
That jack is a beast
Now you have to keep that huge jack. LOL
Now that is impressive!!!
Absolutely amazing that 100 ton jack could take that kind of pressure and still work, is that $1,000 Jack
Impressive jack, made properly, 👍👍
I need to borrow that. Neighbors house needs a tilt.

The press: sit down..
Rated for 100 ton, took 380 ton, and still worked after being forcefully pressed down by a 500 ton press.
Now that's one hell of a good jack.
One hell of a hundred tonne jack. Good to know it's got so much reserve strength.
Well built 👍
VERY impressive jack. 👍
Nice Jack!! 😮
Excelente, Muy Bien, un saludo desde Venezuela. 👍💪
By the end of your recording sessions with the 100t jack, im sure yours arms be stinging alittle 😅

What a jack!
Haha 461 jacks is usually what it takes me
With that 100 ton jack I think you connect two separate solid rods, stick shoes to them and stand on them like a stepper machine haha.
Holy smokes!
I need a link to the manufacturer.
Don’t need 100 ton but I’d love a 5 or 10.
Thats a good jack awesome 👍😎
Good that it didn't end up like an atom bomb! 😂😂
Absolutely terrifying!
Very tough jack... well built

What is the purpose of the two pumps? One is faster while the other is easier to pump but slower? I am honestly curious.
You can see one is larger size piston than the other, so yes essentially one is faster then you switch to the smaller one to get max capacity.
And what are you going to lift for them?
Crazy hydraulic press
What's the use case for such a jack?

I'm not an expert...but it seems like a temporary seal failure instead of any structural failure. Very impressive
Or an overpressure valve
Relief valve, that jack is a beast.
People told me I didn't know jack
