Ah my coworker listened to me watching a Morrowind vid and she goes he sounds too monotone to seem like hes enjoying the lore. Told her if anything else beside that kinda tone is used to try and explain elder scrolls lore you end up sounding like a raving madman
i dont think he is monotone, but i feel like its hard to narrate his footage with much more emotion without sounding weird. he has just enough emotion without sounding "fake" if you know what i mean.
I enjoy it. I hate youtubers having to yell everything to seem interesting.
@@TheDeadAwsome same, i like his delivery
he talks like a normal dude telling you about some stuff he did
Yeah I love it too, it's not exactly emotionless when he drops all kinds of thought provoking references or musings.
IMO, you get more enjoyment out of him if you're lore savvy than not because he can be really subtle.
It's exactly what the name of the channel is advertising.
I have recently discovered this channel and now i am addicted.
Happened to me last week.
same
@LoxPlaysVidya
Addadictome?
Happened to me months ago. Hooked right after the first video.
this guy just releases banger after banger he cannot be stopped
Pause screen buff cheese is the quintessence of CHIM
C0DA makes this comment canon
There's a guaranteed Golden Saint in Bal Ur, north of Suran. Its the place for the vampirism cure quest.
You didn't have to cross the Ghostgate. But I DO appreciate the commitment.
Your videos got me into purchasing and playing Morrowind; and good lord how have I never played it before. Only negative is I cannot put the game down
welcome, friend
One of us, one of us, one of us
Wait until you get 500 hours in and Dagoth Ur visits you in your dreams...
Some people can't put it down for 20 years
Pokemon: Morrowind edition really gave life back into the pokemon series
From accidentally stumbling onto Pokescape stream highlight to being here at 48 seconds after upload. How far we've come...
Last time I was this early, the thread of prophecy wasn’t yet severed.
I saw the title and you already beat me to the joke with the thumbnail
I love that Davyth Fyr is a Corprus type gym-leader. With the last of the Dwemer as his ace. So real of him.
Tip: if you want to get Pemenie to attack you after she starts following you, go to Caldera and ask about her and a few people will bring up the topic of her bounty. Afterwards ask her about it several times and she'll attack you
Yay, Morrowind as a manager!
Your morrowind videos are addictive as crack
Caius: "I'm not ready for you yet."
Caius after Red spent however long spamming low cost spells while jumping on his bed before taking a one hour nap: "Alright fine go for Talos sake just get out so I can smoke moon sugar without your tweaking out in the corner giving me a bad trip."
For real Bub and Tarman were the most terrifying zombies in their movies. They could talk and had problem solving intelligence. Seeing them fight together would be terrifying, them as bonewalkers is brilliant
Return of the Living Dead is the scariest zombie movie ever made, in spite of the fact that it's technically a parody. The idea of zombies still being conscious and only eating brains because it helps ease the pain of rotting is horrific. And literally _nothing_ can kill them.
I'mma need someone to start translating these références.
I appreciate how you explain tasks and lore as if its the first time the viewer is watching your channel. Its good! I've heard you explain these quests so many ways by now but its great :)
Was half-expecting Azura to proclaim your team hall of famers at the end there!
Man... I've really grown to enjoy your sense of humor. Just now I looked through your videos and noticed I've watched... every. single. Morrowind video. I've also appreciated the growth in presentation skills and improved level of comfort you've displayed over the last several months.
RIght now you occupy the "guy who does Morrowind 'challenges' portion of my mind. However, I'd really like to see you expand your horizons to other games or formats. Not that I dislike your current videos or anything. Just that I'd hate to see you become "that guy known for that one thing that the algorithm suddenly forgot about". I think you've grown a lot and have become very capable, so I'd really like to see where you can go from here. Cheers man! Hope you have a good weekend and father's day =)
The soundbite of Azura yelling "Neravar!" every time you go collect the ring is probably still my favorite running gag, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't laugh out loud every time you spiral into the Urshilaku explaination in these vids. Cheers, JBN!
I don't know how you find the discipline to stick to a plan and make a coherent themed run. Every single time I tried to play Morrowind I'd revert back to trying to do everything and feel overwhelmed. I wish I had the discipline not to wonder around like a maniac and constantly get distracted. I like your Morrowind content a lot.
Your Morrowind videos to the contrary of the Greater Bonewalker, gives me strength. Thanks.
My favorite thing about conjured creatures is when they finish combat and look to you for approval
Loved that Pokemon fight intro for the first fight!
I'm a simple man.
I see Just Background Noise uploads a new Morrowind challenge run, I like and comment to help the algorithm.
First 40 seconds, heard “High Elves suck.” Talos be praised.
High Conjuration aka Pokeball throwing.
Legit, never would have realized how much I’d enjoy watching Morrowind played so many ways. Subbed. Loving your content and in general the narration of your vids man.
love your videos. been binging em while grinding destiny or working on art or something and ive been enjoying them a lot.
silly sidenote but i really appreciate that you go out of your way to make subtitles for all your videos. they really add to my enjoyment of them. thanks
I would've been addicted to this playstyle as a kid because i loved playing the Necro in Diablo 2 in the 2000s. Awesome video!
Just watched all of your morrowind vids, glad a new one popped out. These take me deep in the memory hole
Holy cow! I'm so glad I discovered another amazing Morrowind channel I've been watching for about a month now and I have to say I love your content! Keep up the great work!
Was not expecting a Brian Yuzna mention, it is Morrowind though so really he should never be that far from thought.
One of your videos was recommended to me a couple weeks ago and I've now been going through your whole channel 😊
I love your approach to these challenge runs, they feel very relaxed, and you're very funny! Looking forward to finishing this one, and anything you upload in the future.
I love how youre the only one making marrowind challenge videos. Honestly its what made me love your channel. Keep up the amazing work man!
I look forward to these! Love the work you've been doing man. Got me more into morrowind.
The screen transition/animation at 3:34 is so fucking good lmao
Started playing Morrowind about a month ago, found your vids and watched them all. Not only is your stuff very entertaining and funny, but kinda educational as well for someone who jumps right into the game and has no idea wtf theyre doing. Also noticed how you leveled up your editing in this vid man, youre going⬆
Love your vids, and in this one in particular, how you added bits of context to Sul-Matuul, Caius, Mehra and others
Been a recent fan watching your videos while I'm enroute to my sites during graveyard shift. Glad I could catch a fresh one! I love your videos and commentary
YAY! Thank you for your hard work. Watching this will help me calm down after a rough morning.
This is actually how I beat plenty of content in Skyrim. I roleplayed as a mage and the only armor I wore were ebony gloves and a dragon mask. That meant - any foresworn could end me with a couple of arrows from far away, plus other dangers. So I adopted a play style - invisibility and summon two dremoras that would start wreaking havoc. After they were done I would finish survivors (if any) with dagger sneak attacks.
Awesome vid as always, love your channel. Got me to play Morrowind again!
I thought skyrim only let's us summon one minion at a time?
I really enjoyed the editing, this vid in particular is excellent.
love the consistent uploads my guy. love your channel
The editing in this one was great, loved the little Pokémon battle edit
Thanks for the information I love learning new ways to play and I love you vids try not to get burnt out and be safe
Yes! I was just thinking last night. It's been a while since I saw a video from you, now I get to enjoy this on my lunch.
Definitely one of my favorite channels. Thanks for suffering for our enjoyment.
7:20 fun fact: Savior's hide has the same protective value of a deadric chest piece, making it the best light armor in the entire game.
It's been two weeks since I last slept. Finally, another JBN video. I can rest at last.
I use water walking all the time. I like it.
Finally, someone who likes this spell as much as I do xd
Honestly such an incredible name for the channel, and a new favorite to be sure.
Found this channel a few days ago.
I've been feeling down for some time, and I was just looking for stuff to "past the time."
But then I found your channel name intriguing.
I find that your "style" just fits exactly what I want. It's not over the top, it's not "fake hype", fake laughter etc.,
You're really a godsend bro.
I hope you upload more morrowind / oblivion videos.
I tried getting into Morrowind but I just couldn't, and your videos really highlight the best part of morrowind. Cheers man.
I really like how you go off on odd little tangents in the middle of your explanations
The production on your videos are only getting better and better, the pokemon editing was really cool lol
omg I love the editing in this one!!
Seeing how you deal with a heart in every run was a cherry on top. I kept wondering how summons can do this throughout the whole video. And in the end they just didn't 😢
I love your inclusion of oldschool runescape music, it catches me off-guard every time cause I watch these while playing.
Eyh eyh, just a nice message to tell you I really enjoy your videos and think you're doing a great job editing and voice-overing it. 👍
4:19 a face not even a Mother could love 😨
Love this channel. Banger content after banger content.
Another banger video my man :)
Good show, that was really enjoyable. More please! Honestly a run where you just play how you want would be cool to see too :)
The ending to these videos are great. I cackle whenever the final fight starts with the Morrowind theme starts blastin. 😂
Thank you for everything you make!
Puwhaha I love the sorta B roll additions of just samples of you jumping in the bed corner casting spells and swapping hats. How beautiful, poinient.
16:55 - IIRC I farmed Golden Saint souls after building the Telvanni Stronghold by casting soul trap on a summoned Golden Saint and levitating over the lava lake in the stronghold's basement; it would fall into lava and die before the soul trap effect could wear off. I think that without a Telvanni Stronghold the top of Dagoth Ur would've worked for the purpose too.
Just as my day was starting to drag at work, JBN appears to save my day! Thank you, king.
Loving the Pokemon music overlays
"frenzy turns murder into self defense"
Too real 😂
YOU DID THE THING I REQUESTED! You are officially the coolest person I know.
I enjoy your videos, thanks for making them
Funfact, fairly certain Tarhiel is 'tar-heel'
The devs added in two reference ragging on the 'Carolina Tar Heels' team, him, and the eltonbrand easter egg.
Ummm yess. Just found you a few days ago and this channel gives me life.
Great stuff as always man.
I think I remember you asking about other games, and I think Fable could be a fun one if you're taking suggestions.
This series honors the Sixth House and the Tribe Unmourned. You got yourself a like and a sub
I love your Elder Scrolls lore deepcuts, and cross fandom jokes. You are so charismatic and I've spent so long watching your back catalogue. Would love to watch you do a playthrough of the Elder Kings mod for CK3
Love how your mild youtube algorythm rant got followed up immediately by the pokemon battle sequence. Been having a great time with your videos.
If you make a spell with a temporary effect like Fortify or Summon, and add a Soul Trap on Self effect, it becomes permanent and repeatable. It might also work with Levitate but not being able to dispel it might not be worth it.
That's a glitch that OpenMW fixes.
I am starting to think with receiving the corpus from the main quest is a curse, then receiving “cure corpus potion” was “remove curse spell” and give you several permanent immunities from scripts.
This is literally how I play every elder scrolls love summoning a endless hord to destroy my enemies in every game I pretty much play Pokemon catching every summoning spell, never summoned in Morrowind unfortunately but oblivion and Skyrim were hilarious doing only summoning challenge great video.
Savior's Hide on a Breton is simply overpowered. Complete permanent immunity to all magic except elemental damage.
On top of that it's the strongest piece of light armor.
I was not expecting to see Galbedir in blackface, that really got me. Amazing run, keep em coming!
Everytime I believe I'm done with morrowind, you post a video and fuel my addiction to the game. Looks like its time for a new playthrough
Your videos made me finally start morrowind....but now I can't keep watching your videos until I beat it so i don't spoil myself on the faction quests you do lol
I am uncapable pf sleeping without your soothing voice. Never stop uploading
One of my first mage playthroughs of morrowind was using conjuration to one spell summon a full set of armor and weapon. I was young and didnt think to make a training spell so it was an absolute ballache to try and cast but i just found it so cool to do one quick cast and be armored up lol
I’ve tried to play Morrowind multiple times and could never get into it. Now I’ve watched your videos and I understand it better and am trying to play it again. So far I’m really enjoying my h2h monk mage.
These are so great thanks for making them
I never played morrowind and I really like seeing your videos lmao
Can't wait to watch!
The pokemon edits are utter gold
I just found your channel and ive been loving listening to you while playing football manager and taking care of my VA education benefits so i can start college
Your videos are cool man. Love morrowind
i like the little pokemon art u did for that mages guild quest with the scamp. poor guy's never gonna use conjuration again.
Yesss content
You are too good at this
You can actually regen magicka with Atronach if you make a spell/enchantment that lowers your intelligence/increases magicka, and when it wears off it will reset your magicka to the new ratio. Obviously falls into glitch category, but if you made it weaker with an enchantment that runs out it could be fairly respectable.
Also! A fun early-game money making thing you could try is to rob the Redoran vaults, there’s a key to the lower vaults in Dralor Manor, which is in Redoran Plaza.
Hell yeah. See you in the stream tomorrow too
I need my car revving ASMR
It's a treat every time you upload a video, but I'm still hoping for that Daggerfall playthrough!
Precisely when I needed it.
