One thing that I know that is keeping the traditional punk roots alive is by far the underground deathrock and tradgoth scene. I’m talking about the kind of goths who DIY everything: clothes, hair, art, etc. Even then we’re plagued by ravers, metal heads, Manson fans, and mallgoths. I never have been a fan of mainstream punk. I miss my deathhawk.

I don't usually use gel, do you tease your hair when you put your hawk up? Lots of teasing with hairspray is the best method, in my opinion!
