Reggae style is not really my thing. It makes me feel funky or don't know what to do. It feels like the situation where I'm in a party and my partner left in the middle of dance and not knowing what to do.

Musical styles is something that most present church musicians are unfamiliar with. Ask them to play bossanova or swing, they would just look puzzled.
