Good morning from Singapore! Wish you'd have a amazing day =)
Its all different now in today's generation
Great video series! Thank you Mr Baloche for taking the time to share your knowledge with worship leaders/bands and the rest of the world! Blessings for your ministry!
Your teaching has really inspired and helped our Worship Team. Really Great. Thank you so much. Jesus uses you more to be a blessing to the Body of Christ. Amen.
What a blessing these videos are. The inspiration they give are awesome. Thank You Paul and keep them coming.
What are the chords? I want to learn. From Temuco Chile !!!
Who is the drummer!
Hi Paul , I just want to thank you for what you have shared in these videos its been a blessing.. My church is transitioning from only hymns to a mix of more contemporary style worship. We have to meet the worship needs of the more mature audience who want hymns and the youth who need the newer feel.
I'm learning many things through these videos, God bless a lot
3:12 best stare ever
"We'll just fade out" lol love it :)
This is definitely more sophisticated than acoustic rock !
"1 and a, 2 and a, and a, and a. AND UH, very characteristic of reggae is..." LOL!!
I really enjoyed it. Thanks! :)
Reggae style is not really my thing. It makes me feel funky or don't know what to do. It feels like the situation where I'm in a party and my partner left in the middle of dance and not knowing what to do.
That ending. <3
I dig it
I realy like how you sing
I realy like how you sing
Worship music is always behind the times. The leader sits here talking about "modern" worship while the drummer is rocking a mullet that would make MacGyver jealous.
johngeetar this is from the late 90’s
Gonna tell my mom, who is a worship leader at my local church here in AZ, that the worship team should play this style. We're also trying to do a hoedown style, if we had a banjo player
earl scruggs? rly?
i have no idea what i had in mind :D
How did he mess up the demonstration? I feel like what he played was totally acceptable.
I think it's more of the heart that counts. God doesn't care about the result, we are all imperfect, we all make mistakes. What he really looks at is the heart: are we doing this for Him or are we trying to look good?
As a gospel musician, this is a prevailing attitude especially with younger players. While it is wrong to play only to 'look good', the Bible does command the musicians to play skilfully - Heb יָטַב to do something well, good. In short, with excellence.......... Psalm 33:3 Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise. While we all make mistakes, I try to remember the guideline "my utmost for His highest" and it has served me well over the years. Thanks for considering.
These are great videos, but from one bassist to another... TURN IT UP MAN! I can barely hear you over the high hats.
But make sure you have the reverb and tap tempo right to get the right U2 sound.. they are dotted 8th notes
Something tells me this video isn't exactly recent. :p
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
It looks so fun to be in tht hand
yeah i'd noticed that too since some churches are hesitant to play or don't know how to play REGGAE.
Man, Jason's got that groove thang dooooooown. Dude's the bomb. Right?
This reminded me that "rock" might include slight different styles in itself too. But awesome videos, Paul Balche!
interesting
your elecric guitarist needs to learn how to use tap tempo delays properly. his delay was sooo outta sync.
great!
this is cool... thanks
very nice.,very helpful!thanx for this.,
Man, that funk fusion groove is sick! I so want to do a worship arrangement in that style. If only my church had more instrumentalists.
the guitar really messed the demonstration at 5:30 but the tutorial's nice man !
