- Nobody knows this tiny house apartment exists in a “normal” looking apartment building in one of NYC’s coolest neighborhoods. Would you live here?

Thanks for the kind words about my store Gotham Thrift! A friend of mine just sent me the link to this video. We had no idea. Best of luck we always watch your vids.
Hah happy new year
That closet in the ceiling is where you tell the kids they go if they're bad
Only say that if you're truly willing to follow through with that punishment. Otherwise they'll stop believing you. Maybe you weren't serious but I am!
No, that's the in-law suite
@@TheNightOwl11683 Now you're talkin' ...... secret to a happy marriage, no mothers- in -law!
Get the kids up there and take away the ladder.
@@sweettrubble4635 If they jump to their death, that's on you. I say apply the board of education to the seat of their pants. "Spare the rod, spoil the child."
People stopped doing this & now we see the results of that policy. A trophy for everyone!
I’ve said it before on this channel; Cash sets himself apart because he takes the time to show the neighborhood in depth before viewing the apt. Love this channel!! 💯💯💯💯
I would NEVER think about moving to NYC, I only watch because Cash puts out brilliant vlogs.
At least we don’t gotta drive 3 hours to go to stores 😂😂or fast food restaurants places around the corner or down the street.
@@Rina-13 I live in Tampa and within 1/2 mile I have 3 grocery stores 6 restaurants, 2 coffee shops and no state tax. It is also January and it's 75 outside.
As if the majority of us were living in the Australian Outback...
Lived upstate..after every trip to NYC, I would say "NEVER AGAIN .. this place sucks, it's dirty, people are rude, it's crowded, everything is HARD..."
@@1307scooter ok hun 😘
" Cream ... I don't think it's ice cream." too funny!
If this place had laundry (at least in the building) I'd call it a good deal. There's plenty of room for a wheeled island for the kitchen, and that outdoor space has real possibilities if someone wanted to clean it up. I'd be interested to find out how busy that rail line is.
I grew up living half a block from the airport property and the runway was adjacent to the fence. You get used to it and everyone just stopped talking when an airplane was landing because you couldn’t hear over the jet engines. It was the old Stapleton airport in Denver and doesn’t exist anymore but it was busy. I would prefer the intermittent train to constant road traffic.
I remember that area That thrift shop was a 99 cents store back about 10 -15 years ago, Atomic wings was pizza place about 15 years ago too; and thee old firehouse is now a store (the one with the wooden doors that you pointed out the camera to). Seeing that neighborhood again after so long was like a trip down memory lane; It seems so different yet still recognizable.
At this point I watch your videos for the humor just as much as I do for the NYC finds 😅
Lol - I agree completely. I will never need an apartment in NYC but watching Cash is entertainment in itself especially when he makes comments about shops in the neighborhood.
@@dexterwestin3747 same here. I live in cleveland and really have no reason to ever go to new york. My few experiences just passing through proved that im not missing much.
The cost of living is what kills me. If this apartment was in my neighborhood, the most youd pay would be 1000 a month. As a matter of fact, most of the places i see here wouldnt even come clost to 800 a month.
I live in a two bedroom on the ground floor, privacy fenced yard, and a weed cafe in the store front of my building and i only pay 500 a month. I hear the prices he rattles off and i about shit myself.
Im addicted to this channel for some odd reason, though.
@@cbrock420 Cleveland can't be that cheap
@@cbrock420 not sure what area of the states you live in but nothing is cheap anymore unless it it a crime ridden rat trap
@@maddscientist3170 depends on where youre at. Theres still a lot of old guys that own these buildings that rent them out cheap. Last place i had was a 3 bedroom, utilities and wifi included for 400 a month. Decent area too, above a restaurant and very spacious. Just luck of the draw. Suburbs are still another story. But if you are paying 2-3000, you have a fairly big house, fenced in yard, garage, you name it.
Hell, i used to live in a warehouse building. Had the whole third floor and it was converted into a 4 bedroom apartment, full bath and kitchen close to 60,000 sq. Ft. You could park multiple and very large vehicles in it. And thats what the current owner does now. But the old guy that owned the building before rented me the whole space for 700 a month.
WOW on the outdoor space! Nice garden options if you want a planter garden and grow your own veggies!
This is a cool apartment. Just need a fresh paint job, and maybe a retractable ladder for the closet, other than that this apartment actually has alot of character. If I had this apartment I wouldnt consider a roommate, Id just put in more work to make enough money to enjoy this place all by myself.
Roommates are usually a BIG NO NO🤢
@@1jackvalley580 Why so?
Thought the same exact thing
$4k a month is intense though
Congratulations on your Happy Bundle of Joy Cash.. Happy New Year. 🍼
Thanks for taking the time out and putting in the footwork to give Us Tours of the neighborhood then blessing Us with apartment toppings. And Your honesty🤝YOU ROCK💪👏
You couldn't have said it better
That is such a beautiful loft, I could honestly see this working for a family unit. Especially with that mini backyard, that would be perfect for a kid if you can assemble a small playschool playground, or even a basketball set or goal net.
I was seeing the "second den" as more of a breakfast nook, area, but the downstairs will be a weird media/desk set up, perfect for a work from home.
I'm perfectly happy with just a TV and a desk setup. So I could play video games and stream movies,
But also, THANKS CASH FOR THE NIGHTMARES WITH THAT MICKEY MOUSE RIDE
"I don't think it's ice cream." 😂😉 Cash never disappoints with his one-liners.
Nice looking apartment, Cash! Cream is a restaurant...Caribbean-Latin fusion. Chuletas are pork chops.
I want to see inside the surprise closet :)
Love seeing the ridiculous prices people will pay for apartments in New York. It blows my tiny Canadian brain. I live in the middle of nowhere, closer to Alaska than New York. My two houses cost me less than most of your apartments 😅 But I don't get anywhere close to the lifestyle!
ever heard of Vancouver?
Hey Cash, how are your kids? It's the only time I have been this early. Never want to move to NY but I love your videos.
I could see that as a two-person apartment with the balcony room being used as an office, study, or a guest room. The bedrooms are all kind of small, and it's not clear where you're supposed to do your laundry. You'd think they'd have a pull-down ladder for the inaccessible closet!
If the place is pet-friendly, that's a major plus.
I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas! Happy New Year Cash to you and yours. Thanks for the videos and laughs.
I love your neighborhood preview tours at the beginning.
Omg! I just found you and I am so,in love! Your humor is classic!! You could make me buy anything! Love it!❤
Nice apartment in the Ridgewood neighborhood of Brooklyn. A lot of store & restaurants in the neighborhood. Hate that it's only near the L train, which sucks. The apartment is great, I like the layout, just wish it had washer & dryer. Needs a little repair & cleaning, but it'll rent. Thanks Cash Happy New Year 2U & Family ❤!!!
That is not Ridgewood area, that's BUSHWICK the ghetto near Kosciuszko bridge.
@@thatpartdafk6345 Did you not see the Ridgewood Post Office near by? And Myrtle Ave. does run all the way in Ridgewood Queens!!!
Lots of buses nearby and besides the L train, there's the M train a few blocks away.
I love the shade for Chase and BOA, well deserved.
I love the not white walls. Love seeing all these non-affordable places (for an out of town remote person). But we are sort of connected. To your Swede I am a Finn and authentically born in Helsinki back in '49. Much happiness to you and your family.
Judging by how that "oddly" placed wardrobe(?) is placed with no real access, I would hanker a guess that his apartment were once two separate floors & that wardrobe for whatever reason was left there?
That was my guess as well.
I am absolutely in love with a neighborhood. It is so vibrant! Apartment seems functional, except a closet above kitchen. Kitchen is small for apartment of this size. I am renting a two bedroom apartment and my kitchen is bigger. Not so many storage space in a kitchen. It can be added, but it's small for this size of apartment. A deck is absolutely amazing for a barbeque parties. I like bathrooms on each level, no need to go down a stairs during night.
Having a back yard is great ,the size is great ,I think your family should move there with more footage space would be great for your 4 member family just missing laundry which has room for a stacked unit
That's what I just said too! His little girl would have lots of room to run around and play ❤️✌️
This neighborhood in Brooklyn has a lot to offer plus this apartment is not a bad place to rent! Thanks, Cash, for showing another option! 👏🏽👏🏽
Cash you always find the best apartment brown stone condo
I live in Chicago. I came and did some temperature in New York City years ago and I so wanted to move there. It is an amazing city. Your videos of places to live in New York City. He gives such beautiful tours of the neighborhood too.
for some reason I am obsessed with 2 story lofts ❤
From Deb…That up high door was kindly put in as a conversation starter for new people who come to your parties. Can’t NOT talk about it the moment you see it. That’s the reason the place should rent quickly. Who wouldn’t want that?
I never considered living in New York till your videos. Thank you! I have a 10 year goal to live in one of your apartments you show, because of course you will be doing this still :)
I don't think so. I think he'll be hosting the Tonight Show by the year 2033. You may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not a party of one. We just need to get Lorne Michaels on board.
queens is easier to afford
LIC is very up & coming
Love all these stores nearby 💗 it’s amazing
А new energetic style of presenting the information. Very cool
loves this one thank you
Good video !! Youre funny lol!! I clicked this on my suggestions page and wasn’t disappointed
Happy New Years !!
As the owner of Gotham Thrift Shop thanks so much for the kind words!
Nice and bright 🌞
I just love this 2 floors apartment, it's the best so far and so, if I needed to look for a place; that's the one I'd pick!
What you're saying is a hallway actually looks like a perfect spot for a dining area. Round table and chairs would be great. Also, we have seen a few bang for your buck apartments here at the end of the year.
I agree, it’s a dining area.
I like this one! Plants outside with a nice table and chairs would be my heaven!
Happy New Year Cash Jordan. I'm wishing you the best New Years one can ever have. I'm wishing you that all your new years be the best youve ever had.
The room above the kitchen is a secret level.... I know that because I played Mario64
" I don't think it's ice cream"😂
Cash, you’re the man! Thank you for sharing these apartments with us! I’m claiming this lift! It’s mine!!!
Okay I had to look up Cream, and their menu looks excellent. I would definitely try the Birria Empanadas!
I camt imagine how people can afford to live in NYC. In missouri I have a 3 bed 2 full bath house. 2 car Garage fenced backyard with a deck and front and side yards.. 700 a month
Good video, regards , from Raleigh, nc.
Best place for the price 👌👍 love it!!
Can you please do a tour of the new NYC housing lotteries; especially in Manhattan?
Cash has hated on Dunkin in multiple videos haha
That creepy ride was legit antique!!
You really inspire me to do something like this in my city. I'm in up state New York in a city called Buffalo. Hopefully I can get you to tune in sometime!
There's a city called Buffalo in New York state? We learn something new
every day...lol.
Might just show the snow drifts to the tops of roofs lol just to entertain us folks living in central/south Texas lol
Ah, my neighbour practically. I live in St. Catharines, used to live in Port Colborne in the 70's and Buffalo was *the* place to go partying. I'd be visiting and shopping in Buffalo now, except I don't own a pesky passport. My folks used to have a condo in Williamsburg; my Dad needed an address in the US for business, but the taxes got to be too much, considering they kept the house in Port Colborne (my Mom said she was too scared to live in Buffalo) so after I left home, they moved permanently to New Hampshire. Idk why I'm so chatty, I call this living alone syndrome 😅 I really miss Buffalo; good times, good shopping and nice people.
@@chrismorgan9153 Absolutely!
This is Gonna b so Good CJ🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Thursday😀….
I could live in this apartment! It has more space and good light. For city life, it could work.💞
Love your videos, they are very entertaining, informative, and fun.
Novelist Henry Miller called Myrtle Avenue "the harlot of Brooklyn."
This is in my neighborhood and my absolute dream apartment. I wish it was just a few hundred cheaper so I could afford 😭😭
I love watching your videos and always marvel at the NYC rent prices. I grew up in CT so had some concept of rent prices in New York but still am shocked every time I hear you call out the rent price. I now reside in FL and swear for the price of a NY rent, a person could rent a mansion down here. Also 10 stars for your snarky comments (Chase Bank-ethical?, Dunkin'-not real coffee). You obviously pay attention and know what is happening. In honor of my 64th birthday today (12/30), I am Subscribing to your channel. Troller no more.
Where in Florida are u 🤣 Jacksonville they are getting 300000+ for homes that were 200000 before pandemic it's crazy my brotherlives in Jacksonville and my parents r moving down unfortunately this gs they were looking at couple years ago is not even worth it good for real estate agents

I don't believe there is such a thing as an ethical bank.😂😂😂😂😂
CASH! I think you and your family needs to move in to this place!! ❤️❤️❤️✌️
Wow! That is a great apt!
Thank you, Likes the way showing apartments must better than realtors.
Those chairs at the beginning of your video are old tractor seats. I remember seeing those on a farmer's tractor when I was a kid. Which was very long long long long time ago 😜
Stunning Space❤
This is what you Call a peek a boo Apt. Outfront don’t look too hot but inside, it’s amazing ❤️
Love the train nearby!
Kind of nice apartment in an unusual way. It just feels very open and airy and bright. There are several things in it that don't make sense but those could be overlooked. Just wondering how does one change light bulbs that are way high up in those what looks like second level fixtures? I can see me living there and when the light bulbs die that's it! Hahaha. And you were right Cash there are three closets but one is unreachable 🤭
Gotta get z at tall ladder to change bulbs and get to that closet lol
The space over the kitchen is a attic
Such a Comedian, luv it lol 😂
That is a pretty good place for that price in NYC.
Really nice place. Just needs cleaning and some repairs. The outside area is fine, need to clean it out. The shimmering element curtain should find another home. 😂 Happy New Year 🎈!!!! 2023
I don't even like in NY (I'm in Canada LOL) but i had to Google that Cream place. It's a fancy restaurant.
I love your videos.. New York is a city I want to live in one day..
I love it.. I can breathe in there.
Cash this is the house you need to move too. More rooms for your kids. Looks like a great Neighborhood. Your kids would love this. Same money you have nothing to loose.
I love this place !
When I lived in Atlanta GA Dunken Donuts had the best Coffee….but that was over 40 years ago!
Love your videos
Cash, you should show some rentals in Ditmas Park (Flatbush) Brooklyn.
This one is awesome, my kids would love being able to watch the train 😂
Omg, I use to live close to there. The food, yum. JOE AND JOHN CEASER SALAD PIZZA IS AMAZING. I LOVE THEIR PIZZA. I miss this area.
that strip if missing drywall/baseboards might be because of water damage. worth looking into.
I'd love that place!
Queens in general you get more for your money than Brooklyn or Manhattan. Nice to see this place in Ridgewood, Queens.
Nice apartment!! Where's the washer and dryer?
Good Day !
The sticky stuff on your hands from the bike is just it decomposing after Time when those handles go through heat and cold they melt and they become sticky and they get everything stuck in them and then you can get it off with like alcohol I figured cold enough did freeze and it would crumble in your hand
Cash, first of all best to you and your family in the New Year! Could you please show an apartment appropriate for a young married couple with a son and not a three b'room for people to share just moving into the City! Thanks!
really upset he showed us the closet upstairs without finding a way to get there and go in
Man, home boy really loves pointing at things in frame from out of frame.
Wow for the price that's a decent place. But Cash missed a golden marketing opportunity to say that closet is where you put the mother-in-law when she comes to visit!!! But seriously there's tons of light coming in, a great outdoor deck with so much space for seating, bbqing, hammocks...I could see it getting a lot of use. Best thing is you don't have to walk thru a bedroom to get to it. Those train tracks are used only for freight trains that means easy less noise & frequency of subways. The only thing that might concern me are the mirror tiles on the bathtub walls. But I suppose it's great to see if you've got all the soap off you. Sure beats the 2 apartments that Cash showed us yesterday!
I hate these stupid and insulting “jokes” about someone’s mother. Mothers are one of the most important people in everybody’s life, mostly a good influence, often sacrificing a lot for their children. Just because they become a mother- in- law doesn’t make them bad, evil, a burden or a problem!
Why do I binge watch this? I live in Kazakhstan 😂
Cash, anytime you view an apartment you like more than yours how tempted are you to move?
Sort of, usually there’s no parking tho
Have a great day 😊
You made three corporate enemies in the intro, lol!
