OVEN- BAKED NECKBONES!

1/2 pack of LIPTON savory& herb season
3tbspoonsof kosher salt
1tbspoon of minced garlic
1/4cup of brown gravy season
1/4cupof garlic powder
1/4cup of onion powder
2tbspoons of black pepper
1tbspoons of paprika
2teaspoons of season salt
1/4cup of oxtail season
7cupsof water
3tbspoons of all purpose flour
i used 2onions cut up
1 bell pepper
3tbspoon of vegetable oil in the pan along with 3tbspoon of unsalted butter
Baked covered at 375 degrees for 2 hours
then an additional one hour uncovered, until fork ready! and 1 more hour for Fallin off the bones

Never tried neckbones in the oven , but definitely gonna give it a try!
OMG I made this it was so Good . To tell the truth I ate most or all the neckbones by myself. So Good .

A spice you put in somewhere, had plenty of garlic, I just take the spices I have, well a good few, do a good mix, make my own thing, and bless someone.

I made these for the first time ( I’ve never had neck bones 🍖 before) and they were amazing 🥲 … I soaked them for like 20mins in water, apple cider vinegar, salt and lime after cleaning and trimming them….only difference is I added like 4 tablespoons of brown sugar to the mix for a little balance, added a jalapeño🌶️, and I used salted butter because that’s what I had 🧈 lol 🤷🏽♀️… If you’ve never had them before then I’d say they taste like oxtail really, texture of the meat is like an oxtail too.

G Rich‼️ I just took them out of the oven. I could not wait and grabbed a small plate and scooped up a small serving of white rice, the neck bones and had a side of squash using Ray Mack’s recipe. OMG…they are so good. I could not find the Lipton or Oxtail seasoning so I subbed with some of Ray Mack’s suggested Spain’s Spices. Thanks so much for sharing. I have been following you every since you posted the Mustard Fried Chicken.

I thought those we were beef neck bones. Those are big pork neck bones. I can never find fresh pork neck bones that big. I have to try cooking them in the oven we always cook them on the stove with rice. You taking about something that good.

I had every intention on making some smothered Turkey necks but couldn’t find any ANYWHERE so I switched to pork neckbones instead.
