I got my neckbones cooking now, my dad made the best. God Bless His Soul... I make them when I wanna be close to him.. R.I.P POPS🕊🕊🕊
My dad taught me was how to prepare neck bones. I'm 35 and make em at least twice a month. After cleaning them I take a Tablespoon of better than bouillon garlic base and stir it into the water. Season, add the onion and after a half hour add black eyed peas. At the 2 hr mark I remove the meat and make a rue (cornstarch/flour) mix to thicken the juice into a gravy (must be careful not to over thicken). I like em hot out the pot over my bed of basmati rice topped with Frank's red and a side of corn bread. Have a good sleep after that 😪. Great video.
Yes preboil them first nd clean
Send me two plates please 🥹🥹🥹💗

❤😍
fam I don't care what no body says your cooking channel is the best. you don't do all extra stuff. You keep it straight simple. PERIODT #1 Fan
I like it because I don't have butter... straight up simple for me because I got pretty much everything but garlic pepper..Im not going back to the store....so it's a go for me🤷🏾♀️ So glad I found one that doesn't use butter or bacon grease
It really takes 2 hours and lawd I have never cooked neckbones so fast that was so tender and delicious!!!!! Thanks for the recipe. Making a second helping as I type!
I wonder if a pressure cooker would work. Cuts down time and seals in those flavors
My first time cooking them and they were the BOOM!!!! Thank you so much!
I was pressed for time but oh my this made my day. They so good. My kids loved them. First time cooking them
I've been craving neckbones and when I got home it was already after 7. I came across your content by accident. I was going to cancel because I wanted to cook em in the crook pot. But you showed me how to cook em fast and tender so I'll be eating late but not crockpot late. I'm going to make rice from the stock and the cabbage is ready! Thanks!
These came out excellent. They were so tender. Cooked them on medium low heat for those who were wondering like I was when I first watched the video. I followed his exact recipe . Very simple & easy

Best recipe
I absolutely love neck bones, With potatoes and carrots. People these must be cleaned like to chitterlings. And, must have bone in. I even saute my meat and onions together, Before adding plain water or chicken broth. Adding my white potatoes at about 20mins before the fish is done. Please season this dish. It's so excellent.
Looks delicious. I just put mine on the stove right now and I had every ingredient that I needed except for onion powder.I I did see her mine first lock in the flavors. It may not come out as tender but it's going to have a hole a lot o flavor. I had a bag of baby carrots so I added tham into the pot as well. I'm going to make some mashed potatoes and about an hour and a half and then I am ready to eat. I'll let you all know how it went. I'll also be a great idea to pull the pork out at a cup or two of rice to the stock that was just made and bring that to a boil again and then turn it to low and simmer it for about 17 minutes and that Rice will have all the flavor in as well.
Oh and I also added some basil and three cloves of crushed garlic and a couple tablespoons of sugar just to sweeten it up. Not sure it's going to make a big difference in taste but it's kind of like what my body is craving. Bon appetit y'all.
That sounds so good!
Thanks for the video. Your neck bones look absolutely delicious! I am cooking some for dinner tonight for the first time.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your recipe. I use it EVERY SINGLE TIME THAT I MAKE NECKBONES. Your recipe is simple and quick! I even have that same Copper chef pot that you have. I use it as well, EVERY SINGLE TIME that I make neckbones!!!👌👌👌
I soft boil them for 20mins... clean all scum out of pot and rinse neckbones... then add my ingredients.. clean broth.
Just gave you your 2000 likes! Thanks for the easy recipe!!!
I'm not a neckbone eater but the recipe was interesting. Thanks for sharing

What else can I use besides Worcestire sauce
I've been making neckbones every since I saw this video. My daughter made some following this video and of course they were good. She paired it with rice. She was so proud of herself bc the family has been asking her to make more.
After 2 hours how much longer did you cook them for after you put top back on?
Let me get a plate 🍽
Taking mine off the stove in 20 minutes. Already took my blood pressure! 😂
😂😂😂😂❤
Do you cook it on low?
What kind of pan are you using!
Worcestershire sauce
Were did u get the pot from
Elizabeth Brown link below
Whats the name of the song you are using?
can you use beef broth instead of water to boil the neckbones in?
Try it but I would dilute it with some water so it’s not too overpowering
Your beef stew is full of princess tears 5/10
Tf is princess tears
Too bad it's not beef stew....
So do you rinse them again after you soak them in vinegar?
Yes, wash the vinegar off
I was jst abt to ask tht same question...thanks im abt to put them on RN im glad I went through some of the comments first!!
Now them is Neckbones.
Hey quick question when u said boil for two hours like on medium high on stove ??
Are those beef or pork? I love both by themselves💫
Ladii T pork
@@SouthernSmokeBoss I meant to ask if they were smoked or regular pork. They look like regular and they look good. I eat smoked, regular and beef as a stand alone meat. I 💖 them all!
Ladii T oh sorry they are regular but you would do smoked the same way!
First time cooking neck bones nd trying his recipe I hope it’s good🥴
Or I just can’t cook cause that looking so good
I’m not seeing how much of the ingredients you used
Can you use broth instead of water?
Yes I would used a vegetable broth low sodium
How much broth?
Green eggs and spam.
So nobody boil they neck bones 2 -3 times to get the gucky stuff off
That’s it?
Less water their floating
If you knew what you were doing why would you be here watching the video
@@primorelf8277 cause I know less water will thicken gravy and season meat better. Ass
@@primorelf8277 lol
Fantastic! Just ONE suggestion: Get those gloves off!! Every good chef needs to make his/her mark. May sound like sacrilege in today's environment, but put YOUR hands on that food!
