In a new Cartoon Network LA commercial celebrating 30 years of Cartoon Network, we see a massive crossover featuring characters from every generation of the channel! There's also a new jab at Nickelodeon for the first time in a long time.

That was a great crossover. Also, given that before CN, Nick aired Looney Tunes, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, and Pinky and the Brain. So, Nick deserves most of the credit.
@sarahmegan2282 I think TimeWarner (the company that owns Warner Bros. which owns Cartoon Network) should buy national amusements (the company that owns Viacomcbs which owns Nickelodeon) and then BAM! Both Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon would be under one company.

Yeah but Nick doesn’t own by Warner Bros or Turner, it owns by Viacom or Paramount. Those WB shows used to be on Nick until later in years, they moved to Cartoon Network and then Boomerang because both of them are owned by Turner and part of WB.

Looney Tunes more or less aired everywhere way back when, including early CN.
Not really a Nick exclusive thing at the time, but it did contribute to newer generations (like me!) keeping the looney flame going to this day.
Unfair how CN fans in LA are still eating good compared to us in the US...

Feel upset they didn't include Ben 10 in their recent commercial celebrating Cartoon Network. That's like their most profitable show and yet they dug it down into the ground by not including it in their ad. I think that show is underrated in my opinion.

I always watched Cartoon Network and the 2000s-2010s is the best era of Cartoon Network shows
1996-2012 was the Golden age of CN

Yeah, but we still had the horrible Live Action era around that time. The Live Action era of Cartoon Network was so unwatchable that I would rather just do my homework
@@the_username_is_takenI kind of liked the live action era. It's kind of nostalgic. That being said, I think Regular Show, Adventure Time, and Gumball saved CN at that time.
The fact that they add more to the time they invaded nickelodeon makes this satisfying.
the irony being that Warner Bros used to air their Looney Tunes shorts on Nick before they bought Turner to acquire Cartoon Network. Also, Warner formerly owned Nick before it was sold to Viacom, so Warner literally dumped Nick for Cartoon Network.
Just imagine in some alternate universe The Looney Tunes Show and Looney Tunes Cartoons (2020) airing on Nick.

The fact that this beautiful commercial was made for our countries, like México (me), makes me so happy and nostalgic for the old ones that used to air in the early 2010's.

I just watched the original commercial and did not expect that jab, it was truly wonderful!

Cartoon Network vs Nickelodeon is like one of the last big media rivalries that Death Battle hasn't covered yet. They've done Mario vs Sonic, Crash vs Spyro, DC vs Marvel (so many times that its become a requirement), Dragon Ball vs Sailor Moon and PlayStation vs Xbox (and you'll never guess which episode they did it with), yet while they've had characters from Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon on the show before, they've never pitted them against each other.
That's actually surprising too, they've done Nick vs Disney (Danny Phantom vs Jake Long), Cartoon Network vs DC (Ben 10 vs Green Lantern), and even Nick vs DC/Marvel (SpongeBob vs Aquaman and Korra vs Storm).
I'd love to see something like Timmy and his fairies vs Grim and co., or Ren and Stimpy vs Cow and Chicken.

For me, SpongeBob beats all Cartoon Network shows in a 1v1, but SpongeBob is the only Nickelodeon show that I like. Overall I like Cartoon Network more
Eh, I think that's fair if your talking bout SpongeBob season 1-6 but if your talking modern SpongeBob then definately no. Though I think Courage, Dexter, Johnny Bravo, and Ed Edd and Eddy are better.

I never knew that there was a specific rivalry. They both came out with platform fighters at the same time, would have been a perfect opportunity, except for Nick skimping on the quality.
Honestly, even outside of the dig at Nickelodeon, this is a really well done crossover commercial. My only gripe is that as an Ed Edd 'N Eddy fan, not seeing the Ed-Boys here with the other classic Cartoon Network originals felt kinda weird. Ah well, there's always the next crossover bumper, right?

First show that I started to watching Cartoon Network is Dexter Laboratory, and the first show that I started watching Nickelodeon is Hey Arnold!. Favorite blocks on Cartoon Network, Toonami, Cartoon Network's Top 5 countdown, and Cartoon Cartoon Fridays. Favorite blocks on Nickelodeon, Snick, KaBlam, and Oh yeah! Cartoons. Favorite shows on Cartoon Network, Dexter's Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls, Ed Edd n Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and KND: Kids Next Door. Favorite shows on Nickelodeon, Hey Arnold, Rugrats, CatDog, The Wild Thornberrys, Rocket Power, The Fairly Oddparents, Jimmy Neutron, Kenan & Kel, All That, The Amanda Show, and Drake and Josh.
This is amazing, feel like something out of the 2000s but in the modern era, and I like how they show some of the big shows for different eras of Cartoon Network, and the guy who mentions Nickelodeon got a taste of looney tunes curtesy of bugs bunny, never mess with the big bunny man.😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😁😁😁😁😁
The jabs/potshots that these studios took at each other were always fun to watch but, in the end, it's collaborations like *Who Framed Roger Rabbit?!* that showed their true talent(s). ^_^
Here's hoping that they'll set aside their differences (again) someday. ^_^

SpongeBob's alternative crush I had in mind for a while is Spinel, since you know Steven was scared of hurting others with the powers. And both may actually get along. (Imagine the names of the sons/daughter of a father SpongeBob and a mother Spinel. A name I could think of for a boy is something like Spike Spinepants, or a girl name is Spinia Spinepants. Could be. Just in case of Sandy cheats on him.)
This was a good commercial. It doesn't matter truly. Each era has its greatest things....if you like it, then watch it and enjoy it.
