Nice finds Simon! The piece with the wood is a parasol slide and the wood is the shaft. The item next to it is indeed a button. The spun back nipple makes it a tombac button. Congrats on all your quality trash!
Thanks for all the info Mike, yes more clear now with the umbrella and the tombac button. I wouldn’t realise about the umbrella
Nice Canadian badge. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🍁🍁🍁
Yes, an original item ! 👍🍁

Cool badge! And it looks like your weather held out for a good day. Always awesome to see you and your enthusiasm for your metal detecting adventures! Have a great week, Simon!
Thank you, yes this summer is not coming really hot here, so good for detecting and not passing out in the middle of the field 😅 thank you for watching!!☺️
Aloha from O'ahu Hawai'i!
Looks like a lead pot mend! Pretty big pot too. Be well!
Oh yes!🙌 aloha from Scotland although not the same weather 🤪 Thanks Hugh!
It's a "Turner", an old 2 pence piece. The name comes from the "Gros Tournois", a French coin minted between the 13th and the 16th century and which was ubiquitous in Scotland in the time of Marie de Guise and Mary Queen of Scots. (1550s and 60s)
Wonderful to know those interesting touches of history. Thank you!!!🤩
Great selection of coins Simon and what a fabulous badge!! Well done 😀
Glad you enjoyed it, hopefully coming back with nice finds soon 🍀👍💪

15:08 Looks like a parasol or umbrella slide!
Yes, it is eventually from an umbrella, it had a bit of textile attached
Yup WWI Canadian hat badge made by roden brothers (bro) Toronto 1915 great finds from a couple of fields congrats and thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼
Awesome thank you! Toronto, ! Thanks for those details. Looking forward to be back there. Thanks mate 👍👊
Love watching you and the Scottish detectorist. 🤩🥰🤩
Awesome! Thank you Brenda!!☺️🥰
Nice work Simon! The George III coin I believe is actually a half penny and not the Cartwheel penny pictured, but still a great find! Keep it up!
Yes you are right, this coin is smaller than a cartwheel, I didn’t realise that one pictured was a cartwheel actually.. thank you 🙏
The first item in the light box was an umbrella slide. That is the only thing I recognised, apart from the badge you found at the end, which was a great find! Cheers Simon!
Thank you!! Yes nice hat badge. I didn’t know that could be from an umbrella , and yes it is eventually. Thank you!
Another good day out 😃
Yes it was! eventually. Will see the next one 💪
Hi there!
Hello there! Hope you enjoyed it ! 👍
Not a bad selection Simon but I think the find of the day was that Canadian hat badge muy bien amigo, hasta Luego
Yes not the oldest find but definitely the best I think too, Thanks mate. Cuídate amigo!!
First find in light box is an umbrella slide?
Yes it is apparently. It has even some of the textile from the umbrella
