The Colts are legendary. Inherited a Python and a mk 3 Trooper both in 357 from my late grandfather that were from the glory days. Where his 6" Anaconda in 44 went I dont know, but I wish I had it. Both are smooth as silk and Ive had several offers, but nobody can afford them....They'll be in the safe for the rest of my days. Also a Ruger 8" 44 that I wish I would have been able to have. Such is life....

Of the 3 the new one is hands down the nicest and smoothest of them all. The 629 is second and almost equally as nice but no comparison to the smooth trigger of the Colt. Fit and finish it is a great shooter and investment. Much more comfortable to shoot than the old Colt. Changed grips to wood and looks beautiful. Old Anaconda is on consignment at local shop, out with the old and in with the new!

I’m glad the latest and greatest Anaconda doesn’t come with a cylinder sensor or barrel heat sensor, it’s just a gun. They very well could all of that and it’d work like a charm, but it wouldn’t feel like a gun after that. It’s got all it needs

I bought an Anaconda from a big snake gun/premium dealer, on the big auction site a few years ago, and had a very unpleasant time returning it, when it arrived with a timing issue. Now that the '21 Anaconda has been in the wild for ~8 months, I'm ready to buy the new, improved 44, but it appears folks aren't quite done overpaying for them, so I'll be patient. Checked ammo prices for 44 mag & 44 Special yesterday, on my favorite ammo app, and at $1.20-$2 per round for 44 mag, & .70 for 357 mag, It would be nice to have an ammo sponsor. Merry Christmas! :)
