I believe that some reasons they don't count as coasters is because while they can do a lot of the same things as rollercoasters, they flow in the water for most of the ride and are also not advertised as rollercoasters.

Omg, that drop tower I love those, the one in Magic Mtn ca had one called "Freefall" it was the best ride ever. Made you uncontrollably scream and then they decided to get rid of it and all we're left with is shitty Superman ride which sucks.

Journey to Atlantis is understandable (out of the ones ive ridden) but pretty much all others ive ridden just bring you up, then drop you down. So does that mean that a drop tower is a credit? They basically do the same things.

I totally get what you're saying. But I would not count a drop tower (unless its an Intamin 1st Gen) as a credit, since it is just like a fast elevator. But the one that really gets me is Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls. It literally has two coaster sections, and the final one even has airtime. It "coasts" for longer than Orlando's Journey to Atlantis, but for some reason it does not get counted.

@@CoasterWriter I haven't ridden it yet, but if something includes gravity and coaster track, then I'd count it as a coaster. The intamin 1st gen is definetely a coaster.

Well in that case I have 56 credits
by that logic:
-WickieSplash (Holiday Park)
-Chiapas (Phantasialand)
-Tiroler Wildwasserbahm (Europapark)
-Badewannenfahrt zum Jungbrunnen (Tripsdrill)
would be a rollercoaster.

Not familiar with all of those, but Chiapas is definitely one of the ones that should definitely qualify as a coaster.
