Definition of an underrated player. Him & Frank McAvennie were a force. Great vid.

Great vid. Was hoping to see his one at home to WBA 1984 but no luck. Only cos it was my first ever West Ham match.

Some of my fondest memories at Upton Park, dad use to put me behind the goal and he would be up in the middle, when it went all seater got seats on the chicken run. I learnt to swear like a trucker at Ulton Park.

I was lucky to meet Sir Trevor Brooking at a printers convention in London. Was Amazed at his height! So normal! He always seemed ten foot tall on TV and the few matches I watched at Upton Park. I did tell him that and he thought I was "strange" lol SO miss the golden days

I can't remember the last time I saw a top flight game where it's a mudbog and players are caked brown.
