I have heard that people are having a hard time taking the lid apart to clean so mold is growing. As long as you can take it apart completely to clean, youre good. I was considering this and the Brumate Era. The lid on that one seems so much easier to take apart and clean. Thanks for the video!

Kind of thinking this might be a better fit for me than the BrüMate era.
Did you see if these hold heat?
How does this perform keeping ice vs your BrüMate?
    Edit:
I’ve read that a person has had an issue with the inner straw falling off have you had that issue?

So I just saw on hydrojugs website that carbonated and warm liquids can “cause the seal to break or the LID to pop open and spray contents”. I have not had any problems with the straw detaching in the hydrojug. I gave the brumate to my daughter but the straw did not detach in the time I used it. I prefer the hydrojug. I take it everywhere. :-)
I also have not used it with ice so I’m unsure how long it stays cold.
