I have a 15 year old daughter, who while she has a beautiful voice, struggled early with pitch, but she has been taking voice lessons for years now and has worked very hard, stuck with it, and has landed roles in her high school musicals and local community theatre. She's also branched out and is a great sax player and picking up other instruments. I'm just so impressed with your personal journey and how it sounds like you found your true passion/purpose, even when earlier in your life, what you're doing now may have seemed out of reach. I really do hope for my daughter something similar and regardless of what she finds, that she ultimately finds herself and some happiness in life, as it seems like you have done. At the risk of being overly dramatic, I think you really are an inspiration, especially to young women. I think what I appreciate most about your work is your ability to take your natural talents and leverage those talents with high quality audio production and awesome visuals. Your end result, to me anyway, is a bigger, more filled out sound when you layer those harmonies. Not that you aren't great "solo," but I think you really enhance your natural talents with your learned production skills.
