The plane has an extraordinary overview. Like P-51. 360 degree. visibility
Excellent video, excellent performance. Thanks for giving us that over the shoulder insight into a beautiful aircraft.
Well done.
i flew the h when i was a young fighter pilot it was the happiest time of my life we would fly three or four missions and couldn't wait to fly again
Beautiful video and wonderfully smooth flying in one of the greatest jet aircraft.
The F-86 is called the Sabre. The F-100 was a Super Sabre. The F-100 was an evolution into what we called the "Century Series" of fighters.
Watching this video reminds me why you don't want loose gear in the cockpit.
And one more thing, the F-86 was not called the "Super" Sabre, it was the Sabre, the F-100 was the Super Sabre.
once again superb video thankyou for sharing
nice flying, i would love to fly one of those
such amazing pilot
Awesome!!!
Some planes just look right and the F-86 is one of them. The Hawker Hunter is no slouch either in the good looking airplane contest. Must have been something about that era, I think the were contemporaries.
SWEET!!!!!!!!!!
I want one of these
Doesn’t he know that from the outside he is flying the coolest looking jet airplane in history 😮
Aside from that, that is a smooth frame rate 😄
Its an F-86 Saber. Very nice!
@mrwideboy its like something magic....im sure flying the saber must be hard to describe with words
I am so envious! I was born to late or too stupid(or both)! I at 60 years old want so much to learn to fly!
Time to buzz the tower
i think in the near future, im going to get one of those helmets with the oxygen mask
So i'm a little confused. It says it's an F 86 "super Sabre". But wasn't the F 100 the "super Sabre"?
"Super" Saber is the F-100
Avon engine F86 is a fantastic machine 🇦🇺🇦🇺
Its a Canadair Cl-13 ;-;
I want to ride!
Wonderfull video! I love it! really awesome, but... why the watermark says "Paul Woods - F86 Super Sabre"?!
So people can't steal these images and sell them.
Nice video; felt like I was "driving"! :-) Two things: What are the radial markings on the canopy used for? And, after any given flight, do you have any (many) "write ups"?
Thanks again. N-6395T
i was lucky enough to fly the 86h the trouble is that ruined me for any other fighter
What are those markings on the canopy for....?
angle of attack
"I hope he knows where he's going"
Yes you are correct. Although, I feel the F-86 is more super.
Super Sabre?
what are the markings on the side for?
angle of attack
what's the marks on the glass for?
Angle of attack.
Pitch reference lines (visual aids) for diving/climbing. Some aerobatic aircraft have wing mounted aerobatic sights to help the pilot gauge aircraft angle to the horizon or some ground reference. It keeps the pilot from having to be heads-down while maneuvering.
Great aircraft, almost as good as the Australian version.... with the bigger more powerful Roller engine

Is this an F-86 or is it a Super "Sabre" ,two different planes ,looks like a F-86 "Sabre" to me
That things unstable at high speeds
Back seat pilot! Dude it's a 1st gen jet what do you expect? They were just getting to breaking the sound barrier. The F-86 did break the Speed of sound and you BET IT WAS UNSTABLE! The damn plane was not designed to go above mach 1! The Mig 15 had the same problem!
@@johnwalters800 Yeap, You are right. No better answer like that.
UFO at 1:07 to 1:10
What fools we are~ we could of stopped right here and built F-86's into the 21st Century....tell
why not??? Dean Kraus
