ik when they first met up i was lowkey expecting jake to just dab up tonowari☠️
I will be interested and hearing the Maori perspectives upon how they relate to the layers of the film , in refection to how well the represents the layers of fatherhood and leadership . for me many of the reflective layers are quite a humbling thing to see.

It comes after that all polynesians were once the same people that journeyed accross the pacific ocean from the west

Watching this in Cinema in 3D was definitely an experience. I can't wait for the third one now😍
Pure gold & beauty
The 3D really enhanced it and made even the quiet moments all the more beautiful. For such a giant epic, it felt so intimate. Like you could practically run your fingers through those crystal clear waters. I wish more movies could be like this.

Even though I watched it twice already, I was caught off guard when the video ended cause I was immersed all over again. Loved Avatar 2 and the wait for 3 is going to be painful.
Hopefully it won’t be as painful because of delays we will see our old friends.
3 will be coming out in 2024 hopefully! all the filming is done and avatar 4's filming is mostly done i believe

Yep even in my PC monitor this still looks INCREDIBLE, now this is how VFX supposed to look, the underwater scenes (and all of them) are just on a whole other level, this is a fantastic film, loved the characters and story and I hardly can't wait to watch it at home again.
i downloaded the IMAX Version.....its amazing on my 65" TV

Fantastic movie. Although I missed the forest, I loved the kids and the new setting.
I watched this movie in IMAX 3D. RESULT: INCREDIBLE.
I prefer normal 2d because the glasses make everything blurry and dark

@@yuuyjaaj6721 For most films yes, but Avatar has incomparable 3D effects that other movies have never come remotely close to. Also the best way of watching it is DOLBY 3D - the new screen technology doesn’t darken the image at all.
If the 3D is blurry and dark that's a projection issue. Most Avatar screenings I saw had better quality control. It was bright, it was sharp, it was luminous. It added something extra special and if you didn't see it that way I'm sorry to say it but you missed out.
Vudu is not available in my region.. This is Sad, very sad only

Watched this 5 times in theatres, loved every bit of it. Also, I think Jack Champion, Jamie Flatters, Bailey Bass, Trinity Jo Li Bliss, Britain Dalton and other young cast should all join the new dceu.

The cgi is the definition of 'having time and not taking shortcuts' there's only like 3-5 shots in the movie where you're like 'oh this is obvious cgi due to bla bla bla' and that's not saying those shots were bad either but other than that this movie just felt completely live action.
The only ones that were a bit iffy to me were when they showed a lot of tulkuns in the same scene, they moved kinda off but aside from that everything Is PERFECT
There was a good few scenes with really bad cgi, those purple jungle cats were god awful, its like they forgot to render them properly, cause they looked better in Avatar 1
@@billiejeanslover8929 i think the tulkuns were amazing the problem i had was with the humans in some shots look clearly cgi but it’s still the best in terms of blending human characters with cgi characters , spiders blending was near perfect imo
@@John_Croft purple what lmao they weren’t purple and the no shot in the cgi was ‘bad’ just looked less realistic.

Avatar : The Way of Water, easily best 2022 movie, followed by Top Gun : Maverick. Nothing comes as near as avatar does in terms of visuals.
7:31 I love how Ronal stares at Kiri in this particular scene and starts to understand that she's different from others, after qualifying her of being not a true na'vi for having 5 fingers and demon blood at beginning.
I disagree... visually good doesn't strikes well if the cinematography is bad.. in terms of cinematography I think The Batman is winner here.

@@Mark_106 3D IMAX is so realistic that sometimes I feel like coral reefs or schools of fish are in front of me and I seem to want to reach out and touch it. Really experience the theater!
@@Mark_106 visually and story wise it’s definitely better than the first one. Overall though I like the first one only because of how many times I’ve seen it. But once I watch the second one again I’ll probably like it more than the first one. Overall though both are 10/10

I thought I was the only one. Their world feels… more alive. While ours is just dull and lifeless in a sense. If there’s ever a next time I want to be in that world, like them. It’s unhealthy to think like this but I just can’t help it.

I went to Atlanta for my 28th birthday to visit my close friend, after I arrived in Atlanta, went to my first dine in theater seeing Avatar 2, seeing it makes me happy, it's beautiful, outstanding, and awe inspiring. James Cameron done it again. He's the greatest director of all. Can't wait to have the Blu-ray DVD in my DVD collection.

love how people are trying to use this as a way to say ‘omg they used a lazy way to make that shot instead of completely cgi’n the shot’ meanwhile i look at another angle and think ‘wow truly amazing that the cgi and practical elements blend so well together and how they manage to paint the stunt actors arms to such perfection that it looks like they tattooed him’

You can chose not to believe me but 2 days after i watched the movie i realized none of it was real, in my mind i was thinking about it like if they were the actual actors with blue paint and prothesis on them. It was indeed THE MOTION PICTURE EVENT.

I liked the movie alot, but i feel its ONLY flaw was that it focused too much on the kids, granted it may have been building up towards that end result, but I DEFINITELY felt some of that stuff could have been cut from the final production, still a phenomenal film
Yeah i get you, but if you look up for the future instalments of the avatar movie saga the next are fully made for the children to be the main protagonists, the seed bearer refers to Kiri and the Tulkun rider is for Lo'ak.

Man, this is such a gorgeous film. I absolutely adore Avatar: The Way of Water. I saw this movie in theaters with my family during the holiday season, and I had such an amazing experience. It's also way better than the first film, in my opinion.

the scenes Kiri meets her Ilu (1:18) , Tuk meets her Ilu (1:38) and Kiri controlling the glowing squid (7:36) are my favorite scenes
