I'm pretty sure this is the first time David ever gave a solo buzz in the history of the show
He did it once as a matter of taunt for James and Ed, but that was 10 years ago and it wasn't even a performance eligible to be put in the live shows.

Some people are asking "Where's the talent?" The performance isn't about pure, raw talent, it's about entertainment, it captivated the judges and the audience, that was the goal.
Hardly entertainment people jumping about in a big costume. Would be ideal for children's parties but not live TV

The goal is to portray talent, hence the term "talent show". Not just entertain people. If that were the case, contestants could just play a movie for the audience or jump up down like an idiot.
I never knew David who's normally the playful, unserious one could actually become the voice of reason! He was spot on!

Do you also think that the disabled dancers on Monday should be there if we class this as a genuine "talent" contest? Of course they did themselves proud but if we're judging based on talent alone they'd be nowhere near the live shows.
Actually I'm always with Simon, but this time I am obviously with David. Of course this WAS fun, but this is a talent show, and I can't say that this is talent... What's going on with Simon, Amanda and Alesha?

This is not a talent. This is a costume party.
The problem is not that the judges liked it, the problem that the audience did as well
Know that you are good enough please don't give up when things get tough you are perfect just the way you are don't let anyone tell you different you are kind heart people you are intelligent human beings you are beautiful and very special you are loved and enough ❤
I was watching the news about another horrific act of violence and was just about at my breaking point and then I came across THIS and the wholesomeness of dancing dinosaurs actually made me shed a tear! 😢 Thank You Dyno Guy 🤗😍

Who would have guessed that the first buzzer of the 2022 live show is David out of all judges? On a separate note, he seems to hate dino acts in the live shows, given that he buzzed Dario in 2020.
UPDATE: The buzzer was a joke, and it was removed from Wikipedia

The talent of being an entertainer, making people dance and general have a purely fun innocent time (may not be the most talented of things) but an appreciative and enjoyable talent in itself

this is a talent show. we're not judging if it's fun, if it's entertaining, and sure it was all that! (so yes I know how to be positive haha) but at a talent show, we judge talent, and I personally am not convinced there was any talent there, any 'wow' moment, nor am I impressed. I think the show is about finding true talented people that do stuff that are unique, that most people can't do.

I think this might be great entertainment for kids. It could be a great educational act if they change it for kids in school. But I do agree with David this one time. Lol. Just not for me I guess. The costumes are amazing for sure. I guess it was supposed to be a dream this kid was having. But I think they could have continued the story after he read the bedtime story to the kid. But it just turned into dinosaurs dancing to different 90's songs. Lol. Could be a great act. But this one didn't really make sense to me.
This is the problem with this kind of show and people with real talents get tossed off and over looked while clowns like this go through. Anyone can dawn a dino costume and flail about and it's entertaining to a point.

Well we all know BGT is fixed and full of sob stories of singers who want to make it big in the world or are jist waiting for that moment. But honestly I don't care about that stuff. I'd rather watch a show and have fun with it and I'm sorry even as somone but heir mid 20s I'm still in love with dinosoars and I enjoyed the hell out of this act.
