  • Here are two sets to catch bobcats that are a staple for bobcat trapper. The Walk Thru Set and the Rub Set are both highly effective for taking the wildcat.
Join Ed Schneider and Jason Vance on the Kansas Trap Line as they both show you how to catch bobcats.

Love your videos Ed! Do use flagging at these sets or is the bobcats already walking there? Just want to say also you have great lures! Would you make a beaver video?

Flagging would be a great choice if we would have had some with us! Lol. Thank you for the comment. I'm happy the baits and lures are working for you

Is it better Trapping in windy areas? Seems like it is so windy on all your videos!

Wind is a factor on the open plains but normally it isn't as bad as it sounds. That particular day the storm ended up creating Tornadoes in Kentucky.

No pan cover? I heard him say lots of dry dirt but it can still shift

Those traps are really filed to trip quick. Fire. As dry as it was no problem

I stopped covering cats sets. Use exposed traps now. Still catch yotes in exposed traps set for cats. That bare pan is like a flat rock to them cats and they will step on it every time. Everything else will step on a bare pan too.
