- I’ve been working very hard to improve my Cloud gameplay 😅 Happy to show my progress!! My materia load out listed below-
Sleek Saber
Certran Armlet
Expeditionary Medal
Weapon Materia-
Elemental + Fire and ice, First Strike, Enemy Skill, Hp-Mp Swap, Precision Defense
Armor Materia-
Subversion, Enervation, Time, Empowerment, Strength up, Skill Master, ATB Stagger, ATB Boost
sick use of the airtime you get from prime mode to go into aerial onslaught, gonna use that trick now
thank you!! it’s fun to do and looks super stylish! yup, you can get air time in prime mode + punisher mode+ pressing triangle without having to use disorder for air time ! looks cool and can dodge some attacks haha

Great run! I loved that you use the summons against Gilgamesh, I never use them.
Also his dumb Excalipoor joke. You don't get to see it in Rulers and in both this and your Aerith video it got a laugh out of me. forgot about that 😂😂😂
Thank you! The summon use is just to be immune to his 1hp excalipoor attack 😂 I think it’s unavoidable damage every other way (blocking, trying to dodge). The summon was annoying here because I couldn’t see gilgamesh!! LOL. also, his excalipoor joke always gets me laughing too 😂

@@nepheneethedestroyer no worries! haha yup, it’s just to avoid that 1hp excalipoor attack 😂 I really hope square makes an update soon so that everyone can replay this fight! I find it super fun compared to VR version, bc you don’t have the stress of “if I die, I gotta start over and fight 6 bosses again just to retry gilgamesh” 😂
They should at boss fight in VR which we can select any boss we want to fight.

Thank you! 😄 and I’m glad you mentioned that bc I was waiting for someone to say that haha. That part was scary, I could not see gilgamesh!! haha. Good thing is, I had memorized his patterns so I was expecting his foot stomp attack. But yup, it was chaos not being able to see there haha

Hmm why does it say immune when he hits you 🤔(when hitting you when first summoning kujata and while performing last limit break)
correct! so he has some attacks that the only way to be immune to it is summon, or a limit! his excalipoor attack is forced 1hp damage. only way to be immune to it is summon or limit break.
What accessory were you using, this probably couldve been easier if you had the enhanced expidionary medal which gievs you level 3 limit right off the bat.
the enhanced medal would made the final phase so fast lol! But, you actually can’t craft it until defeating gilgamesh. That’s why I don’t have it here 👍🏻
@@RE_Prince_Vegeta oh, yeah, true. It'd be cools to see how much faster you can do it with it. Just craft it and then restart the chapter with no side quest completion and you should be able to rechallenge him.

So I'm just a noob but. You can perfect block while attacking?
yup! you can press triangle to parry with cloud while attacking, this will put you in punisher mode, and from here you can continue attacking with Cloud and then parry again but with R1 ! Can also even throw in counterstance too! But if counterstance is not timed, you will take damage.
What's the logic on using Kujata? Seems like the big dope just gets in the way haha.
For 2 reasons, 1) to be immune to the excalipoor 1HP damage 😂 2) I got tired of needing 2 ATB’s for Odin, Kujata only needs 1 ATB. And he was obstructing my view this attempt 🤣 it was so annoying lol

@@thatstheway2429 I did! I had to use a new game file to replay this / on hard 🙁 yeah it’s super lame that we can’t just replay it or at least have it in the chadley VR
Does Cloud’s counter stance count as perfect blocking??
yup! but it requires timing, just like regular parry. If you don’t time it correctly, you will take damage using counterstance. And, it can be used in the air too!
