- Reaper Touch ability damage is inversely proportional to your HP. So, Red at 1HP with that ability….is so broken LOL. (I display the damage when he’s staggered and at the end) Also, Imagine how much damage it can do with Genji gloves or 3 ATB. And, Sidewinder ending animation can be cancelled by dodging! I learned a lot messing around with Red XIII this challenge 😄 one of my new fave characters to play as now.

Almost 400 hours in and for some reason I kept thinking ur health had to be full💀. I’ve been trying to use genji glove with Red and seeing how to best utilize it besides synergy or limit break, and might’ve finally figured out
After reading this, I’m going to put HP MP swap on Red and see how I fare with the rest of these Brutal simulator challenges.

how do you get him to 1hp? i couldn’t find reprieve anywhere in his weapon abilities
the fastest way is to put the hp-mp materia on red, and then remove it. This will place him at 1HP. The other method would be to fight enemies in the open world, and have Red XIII die during battle. If you escape or win that battle, he will have 1 HP after

😂😂😂 this whole fight is like a meme to me now, I’ve done it soooo much LOL. Even gilgamesh’s noises he makes when he’s getting hit while staggered makes me laugh so much now 😂

@@cloudcs😂😂😂 I’m so glad with how goofy they made him!! btw, I was recently thinking about which characters have been my faves to play as so far. It’s- Aerith, Cloud, Yuffie, Tifa, Red, Barrett , Cait Sith. Cait is so low on my list only bc… he doesn’t match the type of combat I enjoy in games. But, he’s still very fun to play. (The list is purely just who I enjoy playing as, not who is the best in damage, etc)

How did you perfect the blocking?
hours and hours of practice! 😅 But yeah, as long as you press R1 with good timing before a hit, you immune to damage. If you’re struggling with the timing, Precision Defense Materia extends the parry window by a little. But still requires good timing 👍🏻
