Deceiving snow traps tourists

- The snow here has been very deceiving with all the warm weather we’ve had. The ice layer on top is hard as a rock and makes it seem not very deep, but once you break through you are stranded. This couple was out doing some exploring while on vacation in the area and got trapped by the tricky snow in their Ford Excursion. So Alex and I took the track @Jeep up to see if we could get them pulled out. I used the @YankumRopes to get them pulled back to the pavement,
but rolled their tire off the bead in the process. Luckily they had a good spare and we were able to get it changed pretty quickly.

Legend has it RC car guy is still stuck in the woods and needs help
Alex was talking about a clapper board. It was used to sync the audio (the clap part) and had scene and take info on it for the editors.
Dad was a Sound Engineer. I spent many nights in the local TV studio audio booth for evening news.
"What air pressure are you running?" "Well Casey, this one's at zero".
It's really cool that you do these off-road recoveries free-of-charge!
Way to go! Great job!
It's fun being the little people watching when it comes to payment time !
👀 👀 👀 😁
That's one of the best parts 🤗💖
The driver with the tow bill is priceless. I would not mind owning one of those excursions. Nice to see y’all have the roll back in action again.
If you were stuck in the middle of nowhere in 3 ft of snow Casey is the absolute person you would want to come out and rescue you and stuff like that
Alex did a great job keeping up with the reverse tow. He did not even sound winded when you stopped to change the tire.
He’s a marine, he’s really good at running lol
That thing got a hemi? Nah, just a blown out exhaust! -best quote ever!
I think that they call "that Hollywood thing" a Clapper Board
Boy, that is a hell of a tow vehicle. Glad he's happy with his setup. I'm jealous.
Great to have Alex back! You have a great A team, the boss (wife), Reilly, Grumpy, and Alex. Throw in the B Team with 406 Garage and Car Fixer Upper Extraordinaire, you are set for great content! Nature just gives you the best production set possible.
Oh thanks! It’s 5 AM, I checked my mail, and "aha, there’s Casey, now that I’m awake, might as well watch". And once again you leave us with the mystery of RC-car Guy.
So Wise , Thank You.
Omg lol.. took me a moment, but I remember RC car guy! LMAO
I'll say this for the perforated exhaust system: it makes for great "noir sci-fi" visuals, starting around 1:53 or so 😁
That should have been my intro scene 😂
Glad to see your channel is still growing. Up over 160,000 now I know it’s how you make a living off of those numbers. No fake drama no run this tires because they sponsor us just good old American truth and conversation and recoveries . Make sure you put money away your probably not paying into social security.
I really like our vids man, keep up the good work you always keep in nice and interesting.
I'll confess that I first thought "why would anybody try to drive to Scout Lake in the winter" but then realized, after seeing the road conditions out your windshield, that it might not seem all that crazy an idea, given the weird snow conditions we've been seeing here in Central Orygun this year. Nicely done, Casey, and here's hoping I don't end up making an unfortunate decision that results in me being in one of your fantastic videos....
...and I loved the reaction of the Excursion Guy when you told him "No Charge". The reactions in those moments of your rescue videos are Pure Gold....
Hehe, at 7:49 Casey asks what air pressure you at…I’d say it’s about zero or less at that point. 😂
One trick that I use on all of my vehicles for those screw jacks, I weld 1/2 drive sockets to the stub on the jack. Then I can use the cheap 1/2 impact driver that is also in each vehicle. I hate the lame jack handles that come with the cars!
being in the low voltage business.... that is a low bidder special on the wiring... I love those guys. they keep our service department busy 🤣
You darn do-gooder God bless
Always entertaining and educational, and I am one of those you tube people he was pointing at in the camera helping drive Casey’s You Tube generosity! Seeing people look at a tow truck driver saying no charge is priceless!!
Me too. I was waving at the customer this time 😂!
Well ... he maybe pointing the finger at me but he really is pointing his finger at the thousands of other people out there like you!
Yeah, I love how "No Charge" does Not compute and can not register as actual reality in people's brain without a momentary brain freeze caused by the momentary lapse of reason that directly reflects the unfortunate realites of life in today's society. No Words are indeed "Priceless." I'm still waiting for a "What? Get the F**k outta here!".....lol
One thing I have come to realize is, you can never have enough lights, and no I’m not talking about the half dozen racing lights on the roof that your vehicle is not fast enough to ever take advantage of.I’m talking about scene lights, work lights , rock lights or reverse lights. Working in the dark sucks
Good work Casey take me on your next recovery. I’d love to go and any help or products you need from truck toys we are willing to help.
i always turn my ad block off when watching your videos. i love what you do for these people.
I hope RC car guy watches your video and can answer your mystery in the comment section. until then, sleep well my friend. You have done all you can.
Legend says he is still driving his RC car in the woods to this day...
Great recovery that was awesome and your sidekick also was a good addition to you
Casey Casey. You jinxed it. Lol. But it turned out great. 😂😂
If I remember correctly you wanted to put the rack in the new keep 😂 Nice recovery Casey !
God Bless You
I like how Casey just gets down to get tge job at hand done.😉😃😄😁
Buried in snow with a popped tire, that's called Stuck like Chuck.
Ah, you're going to have to start handing out cards to the nice people that you rescue with your Company logo and the addie to this CZcams Channel !!
Very smooth job on getting both of those vehicles up that hill. And your right, Casey. Now I’m worried about rc car guy…😮
Glad to see the old red track jeep back at it
I just came across your videos a week ago, I really enjoy your rescues. I subscribed immediately.
Crazy that came off the bead with 30lbs of pressure.
Should I ever decide to grow up I wanna be just like you Casey....................... generous.
RC car guy walked from the nearby 4-star hotel. He was not in need of a rescue, he needed another bourbon to enjoy in his comfy chesterfield chair
Be careful Casey. You have a lot riding on your abilities. Besides, your always fun to watch! BTW. More Reilly reviews please😅
Hope he’s got a big diesel rv to pull that big old excursion. Edit lol just got to the part where Casey asks him how big an RV he has 😂😂
It’s called a “clapperboard”...
Good Morning Casey
I’m sat in the middle of London watching your videos, been a fan for a few weeks now, I can just drift away watching this shit…. Great to see, thank you Casey and your crew ❤
Are you originally from the US, or always lived across the pond? Just curious, it's interesting the number of people from other countries that watch the adventures in the videos.
@@timothygeiger8271 I’m a Limey, visited 10 states in the US over the past 15 years with Colorado being my favourite…
@@thomaslloyd8472 Colorado? Why would Colorado be your favorite? Probably the mountains. I live in a neighboring state of Colorado😆 I've been driving a truck(lorry) to you, for over 32 years. While i don't know the actual places Casey goes to, i know the area he does his videos from.
@@timothygeiger8271 Colorado for yea the mountains mainly, the legal weed, Pikes Peak as I’ve followed the hill climbs for years. Highlight was the town of Ouray the American Switzerland ❤️
@@thomaslloyd8472 oh yeah, getting into the Silverton & Durango tourist areas, & two of the worst mountain passes in the state, Red Mountain Pass & Wolf Creek Pass. I've driven over Wolf Creek Pass in the truck, but i won't take a truck over Red Mountain Pass.
Dangnabbit Casey, now I'm not gonna get any sleep tonight!
Great video Casey! Hi Alex, thanks for helping Casey!
I love your show because you are still learning. Be safe.
Casey, check the weather stripping on the passenger side bottom of doorwell of your truck (approx 15:38 of video), looks to be coming apart. Also, customer reaction priceless when you tell them it's free.
Casey you are one of the best at what you do I never have any doubt you will find them and get them out. You always think outside the box which is a major benefit.
I will be honest I didn't know what Alex was talking about at first either.n
A video of the survival gear you take in the box would be a good one.
So glad I found your channel! Still trying to watch them all. Thanks for all you do!❤
Can you do a video showing what survival gear you carry?
Casey, I know you have mentioned in past videos that Search and Rescue looks for people and you handle the vehicles. You have also mentioned you keep in contact with SAR or law enforcement on some recoveries. Do you ever collaborate or do any training with Search and Rescue or Law Enforcement or the USFS? Thanks for the great content every video.
Casey is smart on that, covering all of the bases to make sure everything is good to go, for he did say that he recovers vehicles, others like Seach and Rescue that take care of peole ( though a few times he did both ). Another reason for touching base: in case, heaven forbid, he gets stuck and needs someone to rescue him !!
Pure fun - love all your videos but the ones with the Track Jeep are priceless - please keep them coming!
AWESOME JOB! It is good you are nervous when you get were you not nervous or worried that is when things get bad, you get too relaxed and comfortable, bad things will happen.
Be Safe!
Keep Your Head Up! 👍
I have said it before but I must say it again. It amazes me how you have twice as much sense as most of the men I know who are twice your age.
I’m going to be worried every time you go out there so you don’t have to worry anymore! 😮
I would worry more for the people that go with Casey .. have you watched him drive? Gives me the willies every time !!
That's a hell of a jeep to pull the largest suv ever made through the snow
Seems Casey does his best work in the dark
That's because it's only when darkness begins to close in that stuck people are realizing they are not going to get unstuck by themselves and give in a call for help. 🙂
about the "RC Car Guy", i'm an "RC Car Guy" myself (not that one you mentioned, i'm on the other side of the world) but it's not uncommon to encounter one of us rather strange beings in the middle of nowhere playing with an RC Car. He was probably just as surprised to you as you were to see him. Don't worry, i'm pretty sure he planed his trip trough.
It's also not too uncommon to encounter "RC Car Guy" in a small group of 2-6 People wheeling their little cars together. Its fun
Great recovery. Thanks for the video
TRACK JEEP!
Got your gumboots on again i see. Another satisfied person, and another successful recovery. Was Alex hinting at driving your big truck? O.o
You are so good, and you say you don't get cold, but at 13:30 your ears are SO red. I think you are like me and will not admit when I'm cold. Thanks for another great video.
YAY!!!
RC car guy! Good mystery memories 😂

Sleep easy tonight Casey . I spoke to my uncle from Helsinki Finland , he travels the world operating his RC cars in different countries . He watched the video and remembers you driving by . Uncle Harry's full name is Harry Areola . Some call him RC Harry , others call him Very Harry Areola .
Remember lights on back of jeep! Lol
That's a pretty nice spare tire.
Anyone else get a bit nervous when Casey was under the vehicle at 9:41 with the wheel apparently not fully attached trying to adjust the jack?
I’ve driven 65 down the road with only two lug nuts, it’ll be fine sitting still
@@CaseyLaDelle ok, and it was just a bit difficult to see or know how well it was fastened at that point.
I certainly believe you know what you’re doing but even experts can have a bad day.
Turn the lights on. And the audio?? I thought I was going deaf and blind. 😂😂😂. Otherwise good job 👌
And on a T post!!! Where is the Duct Tape? And I still think that Jeep would look good with a old fashion rotating amber light bar!!!
After seeing his spare tire rim, I feel like I need to go and paint my F250 spare now
great video, thanks.
So that's what Casey LaDelle did that day. Wonder what he'll do tomorrow. -- Thanks for the fun upload. ---
The new backup lights will go awesome with the new flashing LED tow lights! Woot!
He was referring to a scene slate or clapperboard for editing your videos.
I watch every one of your videos. I love your attitude, always. AN IDEA: I don't know if it exists and you can use this idea if you want, but what about a JACK that is raised and lowered by your IMPACT? Imagine how much easier it would make roadside tire changes. It would be great for people with some physical disabilities too!
There are plenty of those out there
Always entertaining!
Oh and I always look at those cameras in Sisters. Just amazes me that some one installed those like that
A donation to public land stewards is in order for those helped out.
Oregon's BEST!!!
NICE
Alex is funny.
Enjoy watching your channel and how you handle different situations. But I’m going to have to stop watching because RC guy keeps me awake at night 😂 😂😂.
RC Car guy is like Forrest Gumps cross country run he's still out there... 3 years, 2 months, 14 days & 16 hours...
Need a “What happened to RC car guy” t shirt.

Love your content! I must have missed the update but whatever happened to the huge snowcat you bought last year?
He sold it before last winter and bought the first tracks for the jeep.
Saaaay what!! Omg you don’t charge for the recovery due to your CZcams following? Kudus mate ❤
your exhaust is like my Cars exhaust, the welds in the muffler went and now it doesn't work like it use to thank god she turned 20 last year.
You are a neighborly neighbor for sure

Did he explain why he was out there in the middle of the night or where he went after Casey saw him?
@@mumulester He's kind of on the eccentric side and doesn't speak English' well , we didn't get that far .
Tell him his new name is RC car guy.
That was my tire that came off the bead the other time! Haha I still owe you one
Okay, I just watched RC car guy video and now I’m gonna lay here and wonder what happened to him and why was he driving an RC car down the road in the middle of the night? Thanks, Casey.
No good deed goes unpunished! 😜
So fun!
I think it's a really great thing you do to help people out that are stuck. Keep up the good work. Love that ZJ Jeep. On your Jeep I see the grab handles by the windshield. Is that a bracket you made with the grab handles or did you buy that??

Firsties!!!!

@Casey - Suggestion - Please add another 5-10 seconds of silence time when on screen links are provided so there's is ample time to pause/click/open in new tab if/when multiple are provided. It would be greatly appreciated by those like me who use Queue/Autoplay, which in this case required backing up and skipping to end 3x's because the links were visible so briefly and an electronics/smart TV/wireless mouse expert I am not.😂 & Thanks for another great vid, you're my daily therapy since I can not get away from town every day on my own.....the additional few seconds will assure I don't lose the benefits of the stress relief you had just provided.🤣😎 Peace Out✌from Albany.
Or if the links were also put in the Description area so they could be used that way, which is a method other channels often do.
