Im a huge Caps fan and for my 14th B-day my dad got me tickets to the game on my actual birthday Jan. 16 and I saw Ovi get the hatty. He surprised me when he said he had gotten us tickets to go see the game at the Rock on Feb. 22 where we saw Ovi get his 700th, crazy scenes.
Right on young man, those are great memories of Ovie and especially great memories to share with your Dad. 1 month to Father’s Day, don’t forget.

Too bad he missed on 50 again....49 a couple years ago and now 48...this one would have tied Bossy and Gretzky most 50 goal seasons...motivation for next season

With all the league shutdowns with the lockouts in 04-05 and the half lockout in 12-13 and now the last 12ish games of this season never happening Ovi has lost around 110 or so goals. In 04-05 if he went straight to the NHL after being drafted he could’ve scored close to 50 since he scored 52 as a rookie he could’ve had around 45-48 goals that year add the 12-13 lockout where he had 32 goals in 48 games he would’ve scored close to 60 like around 56 goals and this season he was on pace to end with 57 goals so add 9. He’s lost around 113 goals due to league shutdowns over the years.
It's true he's lost out on some goals, he's stated himself that even if the 04-05 season happened he still would've been playing in Russia before coming over in 05-06.

i doubt that, he could have scored 30-40 goals in 04-05, 12-13 maybe 15-25 more and this season he missed 13 games so he lost maybe 5-10 goals. that 113 goals is too much for sure

I've never played goal but I feel like the one on Price at 5:18 is one of those "well I'll just go F myself" moments for a goalie. Just 0 chance even if you do everything perfectly

Especially the lockouts were in his prime ages.. And that season was special..he scored in this season with youngster graphics of scoring..

he’s 5th in the league in PPG. there’s only about 20 players that have 10+ PPG. he’s still unstoppable on the PP, so don’t infer that 13 isn’t enough knowing that the majority of the league hasn’t reached 10
