I just came back from a cruise on-board this ship and I can say with honesty that this video is spot-on. the video length is Not too long OR Short and shows everything you need to see. The ship is amazing to explore and sail on, planning our next cruise already.

Do you get sea sick? Am planning to go on in april next year. If so, do u need to take any pills for sea sick
I didn't get sick on the ship, it's very large so it handles the ocean really well. My trip was only from Brisbane to Airlie Beach, so mostly kept close to the coast on it's voyage, it may be different in deeper waters. I would suggest you take some sea sickness medication just in case, it can be purchased on board but the prices are ridiculous. Enjoy your trip!@taitearii6930

I love this class of Royal Caribbean ship! It’s so unique and different! I’ve only been on the older ones (Radiance 2003) and the Oasis class ships (Allure and Symphony) so next I will do the Quantum Class for sure! Thanks once again guys for a winning video! We love your videos! We have booked the Quantum for next May in Alaska! Have never sailed this class of ship (it looks so different) and wanted to get a look at the ship before hand. This was docked at Vancouver on May 8, 2023. I was walking around Canada Place where it was docked and it was bigger than the entire cruise ship terminal. There is no way to convey how big this ship is unless you see it in real life. Pictures and videos don't do it justice.
Can i check during this period, all activities are open?
OMG I was booked on this ship in Nov 2019 but did not manage to go cos of health issue, rebooked for April 2020 and covid strike :(( Feeling so left out when I'm seeing this video :((

You said the casino was a smoking casino… does that make that area of the ship smell like smoke? Or chemicals to suppress the smell?
IMO, the Quantum of the Seas is a better Edge ship than the Edge. Why? well, you can use the Solarium pool as your forward lounge. I think 270 is better thought out than the Eden area. It's not about the decor but the function of the space that I think is better. I think the Music Hall is a better, more open, and actually nicer space for activities than Celebrity's The Club. There are real lounges on this ship too like Boleros and Schooner Bar.
I know the Quantum is bigger and holds more passengers. But it isn't missing the areas that the Edge is missing. Edge is more upscale and such but those missing areas are a problem for those of us that miss them. It has a library and card room. It has music lounges with dance floors that aren't just open areas. Yet it has more open areas than does the Edge due to the Royal Promenade. It doesn' thave a Magic Carpet. I don't think that's a big deal. And the biggest thing is, the general public can enjoy its solarium for forward facing views.
If you are into restaurants, though, RCI can't match Celebrity. But I'll trade the social spaces for eateries any day. Others prefer restaurants.
It's a good ship in terms of what it offers and it works for a lot of different styles of cruisers.

I’m not sure about booking quantum going from Singapore as yes it’s an English speaking country but was it still great for westerns especially with children?
Yes absolutely. Everything onboard was in English - you will have no issues. The facilities are the same.

We booked our cruise on Quantum. 10 night cruise from Hawaii to Vancouver. We are extremely disappointed with pretty much everything the cruise had to offer. The biggest disappointment was the food. I'm glad they had pizza as it was the only thing that I felt was worthy to eat. The food was worse than any all inclusive I have been to. I spent a total of 9 hours standing in line at guest services because nobody on the ship seemed to know their job. I will never sail with Royal Caribbean again. They will never see another penny out of me.
