You should have given me this recipe, I just made it for my family and I am now hooked! Taste exactly like tiramisu cream, and it's great when chilled nice and cold. Thanks for the amazing recipe!
I know how good this is, because, for more than 50 years, my family's birthday cakes have all been coffee whipped cream between 4-8 thin layers of dark chocolate cake. We sprinkle chopped pecans on each layer of cream, and all over the exterior of the cake. Delicious! UPDATE: The recipe is incredibly easy. Either use any recipe to make a chocolate sponge cake, or use a dark chocolate cake mix. (My mom always used Duncan Hines Deep Chocolate, but I find it too sweet now.) She usually baked it in a tube-pan. When the cake is completely cooled, carefully slice it into half-inch-thick layers. Whip a quart of whipping cream with a bit of espresso (or regular coffee) and powdered sugar (or Splenda) to taste. Assemble the cake with a generous amount of the cream and crushed pecans between the layers. Cover the cake with the cream and more crushed pecans.

Yes I had it every day when I went to Italy a few years ago, one of the best things I’d ever had, my favourite thing was that it slightly varied at every place, it was more gelato at some more drink like at others more icey, or like this more creamy. Delicious
Basically espresso whip cream. I would have used sweetened condensed milk in the espresso while hot still. I make my own whip cream using sweetened condensed milk and heavy whipping cream.
