Saw this guy a few weeks ago at the Interdimensional Transmissions Tresor313 Movement afterparty. All killer no filler start to finish. The real deal.
When you get into a good jazz school, the first lesson of the first hour of the first day is : " never do any move with your fingers that is not absolutely necessary anymore ". Only a few Djs like Stingray understand that rule. If you are lucky, after 5 years of jazz school you finally understand the importance of that rule. You understand that in fact, that was the only thing you had to learn.
It isn't a Stingray set for me unless he drops Submit X; and he hasn't disappointed so far. Killer track, killer DJ.
DJ Stingray is so uncompromising with his sound and general vibe of his sets. You have to respect it.

Stingray is first-rate! Love his work so much.
