Great game. As a rebel, delighted to get the win. Limerick are a credit to their county, one of the best, if not the best team of all time. I never felt Cork had that game won until the final whistle. Limerick died with their boots on as usual.
Thanks from a Limerick supporter going to the matches 👍 since the 90s. I stayed in Bishopstown one time doing a Fas construction course. I found Cork people to be one of the friendlestly people in the country 😊.
I have being going to limerick matches since the 90s with my brother. Even though they did not win an all Ireland up to 2018 after 1973 there were some good 👍 days out. The last few years have being very special. The bunting outside my mothers 👩 house in Raheen has being up till nearly November the last few years. I have met Declan Hannon, Cian lynchs mother and former limerick players. They would always stop and talk or salute you. They will be back again next year.😊
Thanks from a Limerick supporter. My father was from Drimnagh Dublin. He moved to Limerick in the 70s. He died 2 yrs ago 😢 . Dublin footballers will be back next year 😊.
@@fergalokeeffe8841 thanks Fergal my condolences on you late dad's passing, as for Dublin football we can't complain we had a amazing 12 years of great football and winning. . Best of luck
Cork were hungrier and had a greater will to win. The lightning fast pace of the game was fierce. I thought Cork’s Goalkeeper Patrick Collins played magnificent. It was in the third quarter that Corks speed just killed Limerick. What a game.
Some Limerick players were way off their game today (Hegarthy). Management were poor today, before and during the game. Dublin had given a blueprint on how to shackle Cork but Limerick decided to go toe to toe with them in a shoot out. That is what Cork wanted and they prevailed. If Limerick had strangled the game more and made scoring a premium then I believe that they would have won.
I'd never seen anything like the Limerick supporters yesterday. I was at the bar in premium level yesterday and the cockiness of the Limerick supporters was incomprehensible. And the tags still on the jerseys and all. They didn't know what a hurley was in 2017. They think it's a new sport. One lad turned to me and said "We'll let ye play for 15 minutes. Enjoy it". Jesus boy, you let us play for 120 years pretty unimpeded, so why break the habit of a lifetime?
Hats off to cork they were excellent yesterday, was a great game. Before this stint Limerick were not at the top table but Limerick are a traditional hurling county. Much like cork who have not won an all Ireland in 20 years.
I’m from Cork and cork have been on the decline for a long time limerick are now very much a Hurling county which is great for hurling not enough counties play it at a high level only 7 , I’d love to see a county like Waterford win it soon maybe after Cork do the 5 in a row 😂
Think them fans are in a minority...I'm also a Cork fan and Limerick fans were gracious in defeat as I knew they would be. Limerick like Cork have a fanatical hurling fanbase with huge numbers. Not sunshine fans .First thing they all said to me all night in Dublin pubs was beat Clare😂

@@aidankelly840 Ah what?? Cork at Full strength panel to pick from.....NO injuries whatsoever. Limerick with 3 key players out injured. Their space ran out i think. Usually pull away from teams late on in games but Cork never really gave them space. A lot of the limerick players, as good as they are, are very awkward and need a lot of space to score. Not wristy hurlers. Decision making was off today as well, going for goals when no need, or not really on and going for ambitious shots when there were forwards in good positions to score goals.
Not from Limerick but that's a disgraceful comment. There's at least one of Cork ex hurlers making a few bob from podcasts who should be in jail for GBH.
Thank you Limerick, glad to have seen those great games, what a team and management. I'm from Clare,
Good girl Kathleen 😉
Well said. Limerick people probably know more people from Clare then any other county in the country. We should be up for them in the final 😊.

It was a great match two teams going hammer and thong no dirty play but pure hurling !
Why was Kyle.Hayes allowed to go harness racing less than a week before an all ireland semi final, surely not good.preparation
Why is he allowed on a hurling field after behaving like he did off it?

How many games over the years have limerick won by one or two points and now that they lose by two points the media says they are gone.
