This guy should be made Ambassador for Prague Tourism 😊😎
I don't think so...
Prague has got a quite bad history with that position.
The las guy, who claimed to be one, ended up in parliment as a far right activist, leading neo nazies... (eventhough he is half japaneese...)

Bruh what are those replies
for real! brave AF, the guy in the taxi was not fucking around imho
I agree!!! but also hope that he shows the white collar scammers in prague like "Investing companies" that are in some really important buildings and they actually steal thousands of euros from peoples in different fake platforms and inviting them into their offices.
Oh god. I hope the lady laughing at that father with the sick daughter gets what's coming to her.
plus the guy was a Georgian you could hear him swearing at that bitch and it makes me so upset to see people of my own origin be scammed.
Bro the last one broke my heart :(
I really hope these scammers get what they deserve
These scams should be advertised on the streets when you go to prague.
Some of them are.
Well, the exchange office thing isn't technically a scam. It's just a very unfavorable offer. When you go to a shop, no matter if it's for a food, jacket, gold ring, watch, toilet cleaner, dildo, book...anything, you always check the price before you pay. Why not doing the same when buying a foreign currency? What's wrong with saying: "I have €100, how many Czech Korunas would I get from you?" They couldn't lie because like I said, it's not really a scam but just a terrible deal. They'd tell you exactly how much you'd get for your €100 and then it'd be entirely up to you to either walk away or accept the terrible offer. It's exactly as if there was a restaurant that charged €30 for a pint of beer and you went in, drunk a few and then cried over the bill. Someone who is charging crazy money for something isn't a scammer but a person you want to avoid and never do business with.
@@boutek whats the difference between that and a scam tho
@@boutek I am getting your point but: It's scam in Czech Republic because there is law in place protecting exchange office customers. They are breaking this law. Problem with exchange is there is no obvious price. People in general are bad in some mathematical operations. Someone is better, someone is worse but general pattern is "adding" and "subtracting" is easy(ier) but "division" and "multiplication" is pain for the most people. That is exactly problem with exchange rate. Then next aspect is social. The most people refuse admit they are bad in these operations and nod to anybody who type number into calculator and show it to them. I have simple experiment. Pick few products in shop in different packaging (avoid simple sizes like 0.5kg, 1kg but pick some 600g, 725g, 950g etc.) and then stop random people and ask them what is best price/value. This is your reference how these scams works.
@@boutek The scam there was that they did post an exchange rate - but it was not in fact the actual exchange rate, it was just meant to mislead the customers. The actual exchange rate was more out of sight. That is also why this chain of exchange offices kept getting fines and why it eventually lost its license.
that russsian lady and the guy with the daughter broke my heart :(

Unless you're outnumbered by ratio 1 : 3
Thats europe self defense isn’t like in america im sure u could punch him but not too many times
Sadly the crook could charge them for that. When getting in a fight there are two ways to win. Defeat your opponent like you do, or get the surrounding on your side like the cops and court. As much as it sucks if you can pull off second option you can make them have to pay you a hefty fine.

@@goldeneagle3678 why not make them suffer in this life too? put them away in bars to think a long time.
I didn’t understand that scam, can someone explain ?
@@stogie0608 In fact it's simple since they are physical stores many people are not suspicious they think it's a legitimate business but you give them money and they don't give it back or they give you money back but they confuse you and only give you back half of what you gave but since it's in another currency you don't necessarily realize it at the time
@@stogie0608 I think I should also add the fact that tourists in general do not speak the local language so it's easier to confuse them by telling them a little nonsense
It is the simple trust that makes this scam work
I lived in Prague for a big chunk of my life. I appreciate what you are doing. I can't believe some people fall for these scams. I must say that the Czech police is fantastic but they need a little help from the public in situations like these. I was once scammed by a taxi driver when my family was visiting. I was sitting in the front and filmed him bumping up the price in the meter the whole ride (a very common practice in Prague, unfortunately). I also took a picture of his information and license. When he left I called his company and explained everything. He had to return 10 mins later, give me the money back and apologise. I hope he learnt his lesson.
Well done.
respect
I hope that you called the police and he was prosecuted.
You can't believe that tourists fall for scams while traveling in areas they're unfamiliar with...?
is it really so unbelievable? one woman said she couldn't read the sign. many of the victims are tourists and immigrants. this combined with the city's lack of information outreach on how their systems work are being exploited by scammers. also czech police are frequently displayed on this channel refusing to act, he even described the gangs as "untouchable by police" in another video. even if they were the best police in the world, police are still police, unreliable if not straight up dangerous.
"I'm afraid of you"
Proceeds to start running after them
"I'm afraid to hurt you"
No scammers could exist without support from local authorities.
Something has rotted in the Prague municipality.
Two out of those 3 offices were operating in city buildings. So yes, you are right.
Exactly, great point.
Well not quitte. Last year I saw an Dutch documentary (he exposes the same type of scams all over the world) about all those pickpockets and such in Barcelona and Madrid. Even to the point that he had an street interview with a cop who said they know exactly who they are but are kinda helpless. Because of the Spanish law they get out on the streets within a day or two. These guys find legal international loopholes (like with the Belarusian money not exceeding more than 200,- euro you saw in the video)
they can "cover themselves with paperwok" which can take forever to unravell by the authorites
@@Mark-vn7et The Barcelona police were a complete joke. We had passports stolen and we didn't want anything more than a signed form from the cops so that we could get replacements from our embassy... It took 2 days out of our vacation waiting for the lazy pieces of shit to actually do their job. Literally, going from police station to police station until someone would sign a damn form.

Even if they understood it they wouldnt care, and there is no proof that the girl is actually diing. It could aswell be a last resort lie to get the money back.. people tend to say stuff like that quite often.

Hey, Ive been living in Prague for almost 5 years now. I went to pick up a friend at Florenc station and right next to the entrance of the metro, there are two of these exchange places. So, I went to one of them with my friend that needed some Czech crowns. When we arrived, I saw two boards with a bunch of numbers and I did not know what the exchange rate was (I think they put up these boards on purpose to get you confused) I asked him "what is the rate that is applying today to buy crowns?" to which the guy replied, "What kind of fu%$ question is that?" I was so upset and I didnt know what I had done wrong and I was upset this is the first impression my friend who I picked up was having in her visit to Prague... So, I remembered a few nice Czech words and told him "Do Pic#, ty #$raku" hahaha and we both left.
