Why ITC trading in 210 to 280 range since last two years? There were no stock splits or bonuses. What is the reason behind very low movement of this share ? I am holding this share from last two years. Infact this was my life's first share.

Entered ITC when the smoking legal age amendment was announced. Now at an 8% profit on investment. Will hold on for the next two years as long as nothing drastic happens to the firm.

What about equity dilution that ITC does. Equity share capital diluted by about 8% CAGR in last 5 years through Esops and all . That's why ITC is a company not for shareholders. Only for management

ITC should list all their business segments separately so that the investors have a clearer outlook of the business. Especially the FMCG-Cigarettes, FMCG others, Hotels.

Madam, Thanks a lot for such an informative content..in reliance indutries,under promoter holding,ambani family members have hardly 1% holding.Srichakra commericals holds 10.938%, tattvam enterprises holds 8.068%. As directors of these 2 companies Hitesh manharlal vora,priyen jayantilal shah,Mukesh Ambani, his wife are mentioned.Why can't ambani group hold shares Directly in their name? Is this a reason for concern?

Maam one thing I do not understand at all about ITC is its share price movement; it barely moves! If someone tells me that it barely moves because people are always skeptical about the company as its main business is FMCG Tobacco where there is always a fear of increased taxation, how come there is good price movement in shares of its primary competitor Godfrey Phillips, whose major business is also FMCG Tobacco? Would love to hear your opinions. :)

@@rohitjain2103 on that time indian economy developing so well.. this is so simple, on that time these 2 stocks were midcaps.. now its large cap.. the company itself not going to take big Risk.. now they are going to manage well with paying huge dividends to its customers.. but, its just a safest companies to invest without much risk.. if u invest for 3 years it will be a good option for this stocks but it will not give u 1000% return that u expected.. if that happens they have to do their own business in outside countries.. because they already have business all over india.. invest in mid cap value stocks for 1000% returns
