    Video Introduction:
Every now and then we all keep hearing about the pathetic state of farmers in our country! and in spite of employing more than 50% of the workforce, the condition of the Indian agricultural sector has been so bad that every day 28 people are dependent on agriculture committed suicide! and every time we hear this news, 99% of us curse the government, feel sorry for the farmers and we just move on until another news comes in! and in this process of shallow activism, we never ever try to understand exactly is the problem of the farmers at the ground level?
But you know what guys, the Indian Tabacco company has been working on a revolutionary business strategy and has improved the lives of 4 million farmers across 35,000 villages in India! and the best part is they have achieved this incredible feat of not giving charity by deploying a world-class business strategy that has even doubled the income of farmers! and with the execution of the farm bill, if you understand this strategy, you will not just be able to tap into million-dollar business opportunities in the Agri space, but also be able to understand how can Zomato, Grofers, Swiggy become profitable in the next 5 to 10 years!
So the golden question is what exactly is this strategy? How will it help Zomato and Grofers become profitable and what are the lessons that we need to learn from this wonderful case study?

Also read Reuters analysis or bloomberg how these laws were good but lost due to politics...
Anyways often good economics make bad politics as everyone fear changes or reforms and wants status quo even if that is poverty 🤷‍♂️

    • @minhaj23227
      @minhaj23227 Před 2 lety +6

@Om Chaturvedi Bro guaranting MSP is a death sentence fr agriculture industry thus it was nvr done in past 70 yrs as MSP fr crops is higher than the rate in international markets and domestic markets which makes them uncompetitive.....and ofcourse in a free market there can't be a thing like minimum or maximum and this idea of that they will be duped and forget is hilarious as even if that happens the local lvl politics will solve that instead of protesting on assumptions of what will happen in future even when farm laws were not implemented.......And secondly , these were protested mainly in punjab and haryana, west UP thats the truth plain and simple bcz only 6% of farmers benefit frm msp and 95% of them are in punjab and also has most Apmc mandis(u can fact check urself ) and the whole world media was here in india so this allegations of paid media not covering is flawed and even fr them it was gr8 fr ratings as it was constantly primetime and.......
Also dont get offended but why u assume other guys are fool and u intelligent which even if u are u should stay humble??? U on one hand say not to assume u as opposition supporter but on ther hand constantly assume others as bjp supporters??
Anyways as I said earlier good economics makes bad politics which is a global phenomenon so maybe someday if luck permits it will pass like 1991 economic liberalization which also had same arguments and talking points but with bjp as opposition so.....😌😌😌

@@proudindian2879 you understand that textbook are meant to give you idea about principles and working.
And it's upto you to research about those principles and their real world application.
I guess the problem of Indian school system isn't their teaching methods. It's their evaluation method.
Start evaluating students on how well they have understood the topic rather than how well you have crammed the principles.
But when an exam does that it's called "toughest exam in the world" (iit jee).
When you start testing students on concepts, it means the students have to work hard. Read the book and reference them, find real world examples (yes by themselves)..... They will have to invest significant amount of time reading and researching the topic. Write essays on it. That's how your grasp topic.
Don't blame everyone. The teachers have a curriculum to stick to. They have a list of topics to cover in a scheduled time.
Students here in India don't understand how easy they have it. There is a reason why Indian innovation lags behind. The students want everything to be spoon fed to them. They don't want to sweat it out themselves.
And in this younger generation I have seen this trend skyrocket. They find a way to blame everybody else. It's your job to find other sources of education to reinforce your concept.
Be grateful that your professors and teachers arent testing you as brutally as they do in western institutions. There is a reason why people from Harvard, and Oxford go on to do big things for people around the world. And there is a reason why Indians are in service industry mostly.

It's a good point of view where businesses come together to help the farmers ecosystem. However, the dark side to this is also that just like the traders, businesses or people working in such organizations get power hungry and start lowering the farmer's profits who is there to monitor them. It's the same as the Uber story of the US, get rid of the competition & then dominate with surge pricing. There has to be a regulatory authority in place to keep everyone in check.
