- This video features 5 new additions to the collection. One is a big auction win that was actually secured by a very good friend, Joe. The other 4 are new from that same friend's collection. As I will not be attending the National this year, these are my big "would be" National pick-ups. National and Strongsville are on the calendar for 2025 for sure!
We all need a friend like Joe. Thx for sharing.
Cool items for sure! I just bought a Sisler TTM response from 1961, in a collection, NFS. It's my only Sisler autograph.
@@stuke1976 Sisler auto is awesome! Congrats on that one in the collection.
Awesome cards, congrats
@ACollectorsDream thank you, sir.
Beautiful Turkey Red and photo. Great pickups.
@peterb4871 thank you, my friend! Always means more when you get to make a deal with friends too. I'm definitely glad to add one of those to the mix.
Thanks for the kind words brother! I'll miss those especially that photo, but it is where it belongs. Stoked they will have a 'Happy Home'. The bright side is I still get to see them once in a while 😃
@OC-MC_Joe you know they are always on display when you want a vacation. I'm looking forward to catching up more later this month!
Thanks for showing us some truly rare stuff. I love the photo!
@randallbaker9060 thank you! I am only starting the photo collection, but it doesn't get much more iconic that that. I am definitely thrilled to have that in the collection. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts.
Nice guy and collector will pass the word on your channel octavio
@oarancards4443 thank you so much, my friend! Appreciate the kind words.
Great video. Mangini recommendation brought me here. Subscribed.
@briankane759 thank you much, my friend! Mangini is very kind to give me a mention. Glad to have you and appreciate the comment!
Awesome my friend
@godisgreat8462 thank you, friend!
Great stuff Aaron! I remember trying to find that Southern League set about 20 years ago for the Glavine Big Mac and Bo. Those slabbed Turkey Reds and larger cards all you guys have are so nice I'd have to display them somewhere if I owned any. Beauties!
@blixcards thank you, my friend! You are so right, the bigger cards need some space for display to appreciate them. My friend says the collection needs curated for display to properly appreciate the various items. Do you have any of the oversized variations in your collection?
@@Valuevintagecards-Aaron For sure if you can safely do it. So much better than hiding in a box. Pretty much the only oversized cards I have are 1960s-70's tallboys and a 1970 Topps Lem Barney large version. He's right you'd have a mini museum essentially!
@blixcards there is a nice display factor to having different size items. But, you are right, space a d storage are both obstacles. It's probably why most oversized cards sell for less.
Great stuff as usual. Love that rare Sisler card. I hadn’t seen that set before. Will have to look into it
@MarksDodgersCards thank you, my friend! That Sisler card is super rare, so I didn't really hesitate to grab it. I'm not too sure about that set, though. I will dive in as well. I am sure there is a Dodgers player somewhere!
@@Valuevintagecards-Aaron that’s my fear!
Bummer! I was looking forward to seeing you at the National! Is Joe going to be there?
@EverydayCardCollector-Jason he is! He is actually visiting with me the week prior and stopping the way back home. It will be awesome next year to combine a family trip with the National. Until Strongsville, or maybe a collaboration to chat?
@@Valuevintagecards-Aaron definitely a collab!
@@EverydayCardCollector-Jason let's do it!
Like #7. Just sub'd and great stuff. I had to pause for a minute when I seen the Bo Jackson 86' Donn Jennings. I am in search of cards I once owned and was trying to make out the serial # and couldn't. Last 5 #'s wouldn't happen to be 58424 would they? Just wondering, sorry. It has been a long journey since 2016 or so trying to bring some of these home. Anyways, I watch Orlando's channel @ACollectorsDream and he suggested your channel, so I thought I would check it out and love supporting this community and new channels. I do not create any content at the moment, trying to find time working nights, being 50+ years old with 3 young children (10, 5 and 3) is difficult. Enjoyed the video and wanted to welcome you and your channel 👍👍and until next time have a great day ✌out
@Andys_Attic thank you, sir. First of all, thank you for checking out my little newly channel. Orlando is very kind. The Bo card, last 5 are 66587, so no match, unfortunately. As far as content, you probably get to consume and participate a lot more with a busy schedule. I would love to have some time at some point to have guests on and folks that don't create content are always so knowledgeable and fun to meet. That was me a couple months ago for sure. Thanks again for jumping over and checking in.
@@Valuevintagecards-Aaron Orlando is the best and very knowledgeable as are so many others more than myself. Always learning new things as a viewer. Just started interacting a few months ago, until then I would just watch video's hitting the like button, but not really commenting much. This community is pretty awesome, at least the tubers that I have followed a long the way. Your welcome, glad I got to discover your channel and I am sure this won't be the last time you hear from me. I will eventually find the time to catch up on your content. Enjoy the ride and have a great day. 👍
@@Andys_Attic welcome and thank you, my friend. You are spot on, Orlando is amazing and a great ambassador for the community. Let me know if I can ever help or anything I can share along the way. Have a good one!
@@Valuevintagecards-Aaron Thank you, will do my friend
