- Been a tough year for me as i know it has been for a lot of folks. I didn't have many opportunities to record new song interpretations, and i'd like to thank everybody who stuck around for your support of my channel. So, fly away 2020, your moment has arisen. A big shout-out and bow-down to Paul McCartney who just released a new album 2 weeks ago, i guess it's 55 years now since he wrote Blackbird, the father of all acoustic guitar classics. I was very lucky that my parents owned both Beatles and Wings albums (the latter of which i was especially fascinated by). A million thank you's to Sir Paul for all of his great art. No commercial use and see you in '021.

you totally should go digital and get a small recording room or even a bigger space. when you get the crisp sound quality of this era i think you can rise the charts as a cover artist. looking forward to hearing your songs on other platforms.

This sounds great! You should totally look into making recordings of this stuff! Since you already have a microphone you don't need much more than a 1/4 cable for your piano and a DAW and you'll have all you need to record studio level stuff. Hit me up if you if you need any advice, I'd love to help!
Part 1. I just saw your comment on the blackbirds live video and I'm here to listen. Haven't watched it yet.
Part 2. I finished watching it, and I'm probably gonna say something wrong. I'm not sure if you're supposed to sound like the original or give it your own unique twist. I liked your singing but what made me love the original so much is how quietly sincere he sang it. You took on a more bold approach. As for your piano playing you were a bit off on some of the notes or maybe to have to play it differently to avoid copyright. Again I might say some wrong things. Though all in all I liked this cover.

Interesting video, came here from the don't let me down video. It sounds more triumphant rather than hopeful when compared to the original song, but that's not a bad thing, interesting take on it!

@@willritter4076 You're welcome! It's kinda coincidental that I decided to take up playing the Keyboard just a few months ago. My mom passed away this past November & I wanted to learn how to play the Standards she loved(& got me to appreciate as well as I got older) as a way to honor her memory, awa more recent music. I've been using Fake Books since I learned to read music a bit years ago in HS & College when in choir & taking voice but never became "fluent" in it. However,I am following some online tutorials on CZcams ( some are better than others but I especially like "Piano From Scratch " ) awa trying out a free trial piano/keyboard course .Most importantly,I'm just trying to have fun since I just want to play for my family ,friends & my 🐈, Leo. Meanwhile, I'm going to check out your other videos; TC & keep on rockin' those keys! 🙂🎹
